sense, shown him he way, since he had been "one o he i s o heo e ically
dass, im Gegensa z e wa zum „namenscheuen Goe he“ (824), Jean Paul eine

174). Fo such names, Pe e Deme z (1964: 197201) had in oduced he e m
"an i he ical name" and named Theodo Fon anes Alonzo Gieshüble (E i B ies ,
1895) and D . Niels W schowi z (De S echlin, 1898) as examples o his (see Kohlheim
