oponyms a e made wi h he basic wo ds us and maskolius (Š amba y ė 2007: 391401; also
see Bu kus 1995: 223228; Anglickienė 2005: 717). Based on he da a o he ex o he cu en
Li huanian language (i.e. analyzing he combina ions o he wo ds bal a usian, La ian,
Polish, Russian, Ge manic o ms wi h he wo ds ha name he cha ac e is ics o he
cha ac e ), i is desc ibed which cha ac e is ics o he Li huanian language a e
a ibu ed o he neighbo ing peoples (Papau ėly ė-Klo ienė 2010). Howe e , i has no ye
been analyzed in mo e de ail wha he illus a ions o he g ea dic iona y ell abou he
Russian na ion, how and in wha con ex s hey a e spoken abou , wha Russian pain ing is
