and o es s changed pa icula ly apidly, and he e y eali ies o meadows
we e educed o u ned in o ields. In addi ion, he names o smalle objec s
we e and s ill a e o en local, used only by one amily.

o es s. Since c op p oduc ion was mo e p o i able han li es ock p oduc ion in
he pas millennium, all a able land was con e ed in o ields, lea ing g asslands o
mo e di icul - o- each a eas […] paupius, pelkes (Gus iņa 2016: 66). "When hay was
needed on a ms, i was used o co e all a eas whe e g ass g ew, bo h g een
g ass on he banks o lakes and small g ass g owing ines and ines" (Gus iņa 2016:
