68 Acta Linguistica Lithuanica LXXV DAIVA MURMULAITYTĖ Lietuvių kalbos institutas Scientific research areas: lexicology and lexicography, word making. The name of the domain LEXIKA PAKELIU In the band LITHUANIA LANGUAGE The following is a summary of the main findings of the study: The Lexis of the Database of Lithuanian Neologisms Is on Its Way to the Dictionary of Standard Lithuanian ANOTATION The purpose of this article is to examine the data provided in the Lithuanian language vocabulary and related information and to clarify the essential systematic issues to be taken into account by processing it lexicographically and including it in various dictionaries, primarily the Common Lithuanian Language Dictionary. It is important that the latter differs from the Duomenyno in terms of objectives, tasks, functions, methodological principles for compiling and collecting data, system. He is interested in verbs and their abstracts (in addition to verbs), assuming that the results of the study will at least partially be able to be used in the lexical preparation of other words in the lexical group. A number of important aspects (regularity of abstract creation, sequential knowledge, plurality, definition formulation, norms) have been identified by which the two databases under discussion, their systems, differ substantially. It's important to have them in mind when you're refining, filling, processing Duomeny's information before you turn it into a dictionary text. ESMINIAI WORDS: new words, vocabulary, systemicity, semantics, abstracts of verbs, and the definition of the lexicon. This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal. The paper sets out to investigate new lexis in the Database of Lithuanian Neologisms and to identify the key systemic factors to be taken into consideration when the data of the above Database is lexicographically processed and included in different dictionaries, first of all, the Articles of the 69th Naujažodžių duomenyno leksika pakeliui į Bendrinės lietuvių kalbos žodyną Dictionary of Standard Lithuanian. The latter differs from the former in its aims, goals, functions, methodological principles of compilation and data selection, structure and system. The present research focuses on verbs and their suffixal derivatives, namely, abstract nouns derived with the help of the suffixes […]imas[…]ymas. Presumably, the results of the investigation might contribute to solving lexicographic problems related to including such words and words of other lexical fields in a dictionary. In the course of the investigation, several important aspects have been identified, mation in the Database of Lithuanian such as regular derivational patterns when building abstract nouns from verbs, reflexive derivatives, polysemy, lexicographic entries, normativity; they set the two databases and their systems apart. The aspects are very important when updating and processing inforNeologisms before such information becomes part of a dictionary. KEYWORS: neologisms, dictionary, systematicity, semantics, deverbal abstract nouns, lexicographic definition. This is the first time that the term has been used in this way. The Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 26 to supplement this Regulation by laying down detailed rules for the application of this Regulation. The General Lithuanian Language Dictionary (BŽ) is the most anticipated by the public for two reasons: the updated title and the hope of having a reliable source of the standard language. Among other things, users want to find new normative vocabularies explained in terms of semantics, grammar, spelling, stylistics, areas of use, etc. In October 2011, the creation of the Lithuanian language's new vocabulary database (www.duomenynas, ND) was started. It is an unfinished, constantly changing and filled database that shows the latest changes in the use of the Lithuanian language's lexicon. It collects new words that have appeared in the Lithuanian language since the end of the 20th century and appear in the current public vocabulary (skoliniai and naujadarai), word combinations and abbreviations, new word meanings, as well as information about the origin, use and normalization of new words (http: naujadziai.lki.lt asp.index.?Apie_duomenyna). It is a unique source of the Word, satisfying two of the most important needs of the creators of the latter […] not to lose sight of the latest lexicon and to obtain information about its codification. The aim of the creators of the database is to "create a database in which it would be possible to constantly accumulate the new lexicon of the Lithuanian language [...], as well as to provide Lithuanian language users with practical information that is not available in other sources of current lexicography" (ibid.). Would the illustration with authentic facts (with reference to DAIVA MURMULAITYTĖ 70 Acta Linguistica Lithuanica LXXV is also very useful for lexicographers, as it provides additional information on the definition of the new word, the scope of the meaning, etc. At the current stage, new words enter the Duomenyn by consistently reviewing various codification works of the end of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century and scientific works for new words and by reading various texts and collecting the new lexicon from them by hand (Miliūnaitė 2015: 170). Attention should be paid to the fact that new words are collected manually, i.e. apparently in the Duomenyn of the sphere of dama, kas aptinkama, privalomai neieškant tos pačios semantinės grupės ar exploitation, the same spelling of the afiks or spelling of the new words (but by connecting them). (In addition to various other things) The dictionary differs from the dictionary, in which these things are checked in order to achieve the same basic vocabulary features […] systemicity. Taigi, koks Duomenyno naujažodžių kelias į Žodyną? Ką turi atlikti žodynininkai, kaip pritaikyti Duomenyne pateikiamą informaciją, kad šio duomenys their sources) and photographs meet the objectives, objectives and methodological principles of the Dictionary? The following remarks, by the way, do not apply to the exclusive case of the Lithuanian-language dictionary of the Association, in essence they may be important for the authors of any lexicographic publication. In order to answer these questions, the verbs and their abstracts […] verbs, prepositions, and adverbs were examined in the Duomeny. These are new words (new immigrants, borrowers, hybrids) and new meanings have been acquired by previously fixed words. It is assumed that the results of the study will be able to be used in the lexicographical preparation of words from other lexical groups. The following aspects were identified as important: • the regularity of the production of action abstracts; • the blood; • the definitions; • the plurality; • the norm. The Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 26 to supplement this Regulation by laying down detailed rules for the application of this Regulation. The regulation of the DARYBOS On April 1, 2016, the Duomeny submitted 271 verb conjugations and 92 verb abstracts, to be made with the prefix -imas -ymas. During the investigation (until June 2016), Duomenin added two more associations (to be Googled, to be trained) and an abstract training. The statistical data provided below are mainly percentage data, in an attempt to provide a more stable statistical picture for some time, since the database is constantly filled in, so the absolute numbers change faster. Articles by Articles 71 Naujažodžių duomenyno leksika pakeliui į Bendrinės lietuvių kalbos žodyną Some new words have not one, but two or three meanings, e.g. cable 1. kamuolį kabliu krepšinyje’; 2. ‘patraukti’; 3. ‘priekabiauti’ (apie 4-ąją reikšmę žr. daugiareikšmiškumo skyrelyje); pozicionavimas 1. ‘rinkodaroje – tam tikros prekės ar organizacijos įvaizdžio kūrimas, orientuojantis į tam tikrą tikslinę grupę ir siekiant įsitvirtinti tarp konkurentų’; 2. ‘kokio nors asmens įvaizdžio kūrimas’, taigi iš viso tirta 280 veiksmažodžių leksemų ir 94 veiksmažodžių […]mesti abstract of the lexicon. 2. Only a quarter (25%) of abstract verbs made with the suffix -is-number in the Duomeny have basic verbs, such as: aitarat […] aitarat, barmenat […] barmenat, diving […] diving, grinding […] grinding, clubbing […] clubbing, digitizing […] digitizing, trolling […] trolling, heating […] heating, etc. In fact, the Internet usage of such pairs is about 74%, i.e. they are actually used in the database not to include abstract trivialization, embellishment, empowerment, elimination, modification, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, mas, nureligėjimas, nusvaigimas, pasidūzginimas, pasisėdėjimas, persemantizavimas, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure, erasure. The same can be said of commonly unused borrowed root words such as applause, whispering, clicking, whispering, etc., which are used on the Internet as basic verbs such as applaud, whisper, click, whisper, etc. Not provided in the data. This is the same as the situation seen by looking in the opposite direction, i.e. comparing how many of the Duomeny action words in this source have their own abstracts and how many of these basic action words and their abstract pairs are actually used. Since there are generally more verb conjugations in the Duomeny than verb abstracts made with the suffix -imas -ymas, the percentage of verbs containing the corresponding abstract in the Duomeny is lower (17%) than the percentage of abstract words containing the basic verb conjugation (at least 25%). The Internet portal shows that another 54 percent. Thus, although theoretically these prepositions are made up of each verb, in the case of new words, only about 3⁄4 of the pairs of such abstract […] basic verbs are actually used. In the Duomeny, only 17[…]25%, i.e. no more than 1⁄4, the group of new words considered is presented in pairs […] verbs with the abstract of their mentioned works. Obviously, not all of the pairs […]veiksmažodis[…] used in fact are beautiful, its abstract, the suffix […]imas […]ymas vedinys[…] members are included in the Duomenyn. 3. Žodyne aptariamosios darybos veiksmažodžių abstraktai pateikiami (tiek pateikimo formos, tiek abstraktų atrankos požiūriu) visiškai kitaip nei DabartiIn the vocabulary of the Lithuanian language (DŽ) (for differences and advantages of the new presentation, see Murmulaitytė 2000, Murmulaitytė 2012, Liutkevičienė, Naktinienė, Vosylytė 2010). It is particularly important that when submitting action abstracts BŽ sources [...] (Liutkevičienė, ne tik laikomasi sistemiškumo principo, bet ir atliekamas gana išsamus kiekvieno konkretaus žodžio leksikografinis tyrimas remiantis svarbiausiais duomenų Naktinienė, Vosylytė 2010: 246). Therefore, abstract 1 is not separated and does not take into account which of the members of the pair appeared or could have appeared first in Lithuanian. It is common to think that when you make your own words, most often a new verb is created first, and from it an abstract (dykumėti → dykumėjimas) is created. It can also be the other way around […] first (perhaps as a term) borrowed, translated, adapted or by analogy the abstract of the verb appears, later the verb itself, which was apparently in the subconsciousness when the abstract appeared, but was not really used, becomes necessary. e.g. the use of the corresponding verbs in the Duomenyne which do not include "internet entertainment" taking photographs in an unusual way (especially as molds) and disseminating photographs, as well as, perhaps, the use of the author's singular "old-fashioned car locking" and other phrases (although the Duomenyne does not include this): attempting to re-rate everything possible, undermining the limitation of cash settlements by performing this function directly through banks. It happens that an abstract or other knowledge acquires a new meaning, and its basic (in terms of form) verb in that new meaning is either not used or appears only sporadically. For example, the already common slang words "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment", "not oriented in the environment". Similarly, in the case of "relaxed", "relaxed, without tension", it is unlikely that this (subudvardha) participant will rely on the verb "relax" in the verb "relax", "relax", or "recover" in the verbs presented in the verb: 1. "to be released"; 2. "A little rest". On the other hand, it would be difficult to explain the emergence of even a few verbs in the absence of their base verbs in the case of a fallen nest. In order to answer this and related questions more concretely, a separate in-depth study is needed, probably covering not only the verbally related words of the group under consideration. Straipsniai / Articles 73 Naujažodžių duomenyno leksika pakeliui į Bendrinės lietuvių kalbos žodyną The abstract itself is not a dictionary, but rather a collection of abstract words that are used in the dictionary, which is why the abstract is called a dictionary. However, keeping in mind the aforementioned regularity of the act, if it is decided to include a new verb in the dictionary, its abstract meaning is necessarily investigated, the morphological, accent, semantic, stylistic and other information related to the latter semantic word is explained. Thus, when using the Duomen as one of the sources of the Word and deciding to draw one or the other verb recorded in the Word, the meaning of its abstract must also be investigated. And vice versa if Duomenyn provides only the abstract, but does not record its basic verb, the dictionary must also add the last verb. Therefore, the verb pairs abstract word, its abstract, verb preposition -imas -ymas vedinys lexicographically have to be considered together. In the case of data (due to different purposes, tasks and compilation methodologies), such a procedure is not performed. This is evident in cases where, when finding an abstract and looking at its keyword, it turns out that the latter is frequently used, and the Google search engine finds hundreds or even thousands of examples of its use (including recurring ones). For example, Duomenyn provides the verb to structure ‘to structure, to create a structure ([...] the modern student is unable to learn he does not structure either working time or information [...]). In addition to the above-mentioned features, the course also offers a variety of other activities, such as: • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring the curriculum, • Structuring vimą) išryškinant medžio struktūrą • tekstas, pasak R. DAIVA MURMULAITYTĖ 74 Act of Linguistic Lithuanian LXXV • the text of the manual is uniform, without corrections, exceptions, structuring, etc. The diversity of examples and the use of plural forms indicate that in the abstract case, it would probably be possible to assign more than one meaning to this word (in this case, the basic verb itself is additionally semantically investigated in order to find out whether it is necessary to specify its meaning). Similar work should also be done in the opposite direction […] if the subject is abstract, for example, the summing up […]the absoluteness of being a mother, the detachment from other things in life[…], but there is no basic verb, in this case […]summing up[…]4, the meaning of the latter must also be clarified. It's found in a variety of forms: women who are pregnant are afraid to have a baby. They don't have to have a baby and see nothing but a baby. Some women are attractive, some are not. Some women have a baby, some have a baby, some have a baby. Having clarified that one of the members of the pair […]veiksmažodis […] its abstract […] is used in the Duomeny, its further consideration takes place in the usual spelling order of the Word text […] is interested in the frequency, norm, prevalence, etc. of the use of this word. It is possible that the word is not recorded in the Duomeny, but the word found in the additional search is still too rare or rare. In this case, the difference between Duomenyno and Žodyno, as two lexicon stores, nyną jis vis dėlto, matyt, trauktinas, o į Žodyną – ne. Priežastis – skirtingi šių stands out: the tasks and functions of Duomešaltiniai. The most important thing in the data is not to miss the new fact, in the word […] that fact must be sufficiently frequent, settled, clear semantic structure. And, which is very important, […] normal. The blood vessels of the blood vessels When studying the relationship between new verbs and their abstract meaning, vartosen and fixation in Duomenyne, it has been noticed that he often provides a simple verb (for example, a verb with an unconcrete meaning, linked to a social network, a verb with a social network, a verb with a social network, a verb with a social network, a verb with a social network, etc.), but not a 4 Duomenyne nėra jo pamatinio žodžio mamėti, taip pat neužfiksuotas grybauti, nors teikiamas verb with a social network. The basic words of the prepositions of the verbs presented in the data, which are missing in the data, are another matter requiring a separate investigation. See also note 15. Articles of the 75th Naujažodžių duomenyno leksika pakeliui į Bendrinės lietuvių kalbos žodyną does not provide the relevant blood type actually used (feisbukintis, see more about it in the definitions section, snigrybauti, see more about this in the 15th edition, etc.). Sometimes the dictionary provides a literal translation, but does not record the use of the appropriate pronoun, e.g. the example of the vowel that the pretentious manner of the sentence seems humorous and strange, especially against the backdrop of heated discussions indicates that the possible and non-literary verb to feel (the dictionary provides only the literal translation of the person you are referring to as you). And indeed, it exists in the online world: [...] it happens that people, for example, in the workplace, are accustomed to feeling that you are also the friends of your friends or even the other party [...]. Another case […] In the Duomeny, the abstract purchase of verbs (and the name of the actor, the buyer, -a) is provided, but there are neither the corresponding non-correlative verbs nor the basic non-correlative verbs of the latter. But it's been a long time since I've been able to say, "I'm a 10-year-old stylist, and I'm going to change my life." I can form your style [...], and this actor's name is made not from LKŽe fixed lexema to buy iter. the dem. to buy 1. "everyone has enough to buy everything". Thus, the new non-corrupted version still exists, and the Duomenyne fixuotina at least has a new purchased meaning. Plg. new words self-portrait […] self-portrait of a person[…], self-portrait […] self-portrait of a person in the style of Monika Šalčiūtė, a social network and entertainment world activist, who due to her semantics (personality created by photographing herself) cannot be non-symbolic. Also not to be considered here are the cases where the Duomenin only records the blood-sucking marriage, because there is no potential non-blood-sucking parenthesis, for example, it was not possible to find the word "infantile parenthesis", see. It is only from the actual kaičio (anūko) teisėmis’. Pasitaiko, kad apie (sangrąžinio) veiksmažodžio buvimą (jei ne realioje varusage that it is possible to determine whether a bloodthirsty word or a foreign vartojamo jo abstrakto. DAIVA MURMULAITYTĖ 76 Acta Linguistica Lithuanica LXXV A curious case of a single innovation to distinguish between human nature and human nature. At the time of the study, it was illustrated in the Duomeny by a single sentence by Vytautas Radžvil with two […] simple and […] syntactic prepositions -mas vediniais (a centuries-long process of Western human self-mutilation). Speech correction error (the vowel vowel is shortened by its verb, object word, example), indicating the sensed organic relationship between the verb and its abstract. The verb "make" is actually used, and not in one meaning, as in the broader contexts of two lexemes, in the first case it is still possible to talk about the relationship with animals, in the second it is not: 1. This is the most important and essential characteristic of the fairy tale […] the hero returns the human form to himself or preserves it. [...] What do we see in many contemporary fairy tales? [...] First of all, the transformation of the essence of the heroes comes to the fore - they are, if I may say so, enlightened. A good example of this is the Vorazmogis (probably not a man-eater, but a Vorazmogis: Spider-Man) and the whole bunch of different mutants, from cyborgs to vampires. The Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 26 to supplement this Regulation by laying down detailed rules for the application of this Regulation. 2. Painting is subjective art. There are also abstracts. It is an attempt to achieve an ideal, and therefore an unattainable limit - to "make" one's own images, in other words, to dissolve the world in the subjective image of "man", to show what it would be to the absolute human gaze. Objective art seeks another, opposite, ideal boundary […] it tries to […] exaggerate […] reality and its images, to show how they would be observed […] through the eyes of pure human nature. There is no explanation for the use of the verb "sanguine", but one fact, in search of more examples of the abstract of the sanguine, could be found in another text by Vytautas Ražvil: In other words, deepening EU integration is a continuation of the strengthening and acceleration of what we called Europe until the mid-20th century. In some cases, there are no problems (4a line), for example, it is clear that the new meaning of the word "grind" - "translate into cash (in terms of money, securities, etc.)" or the new meaning of the word "inspir" - "to get a smell, to smell a smell" - is normal and can be presented in the standard vocabulary (if it meets the other word selection criteria). There are other instances (4b) where there is no specific, unambiguous or any information about the careful normalization of the new word in the Duomeny. In other words, a new slang word is assigned to a word that means "to bring out of patience"; Duomenyne has a remark for users: A widely spread slang word, right on the edge of the common language. Therefore, the significance and importance of the database for the lexicographic work becomes very clear, as it is expected to contain as much up-to-date and normative information as possible. Information for those looking for a new word to name their company or product in the Duomeny, and no naudotojams jo įvade patariama pasiskaityti ir pastabas, „ar jums patikęs žodis atitinka bendrinės lietuvių kalbos normas“ (http://naujazodziai.lki.lt/Index. asp?Apie_duomenyna). The Commission shall be empowered to adopt delegated acts in accordance with Article 26 to supplement this Regulation by laying down detailed rules for the application of this Regulation. The database of new words of the Lithuanian language is one of the few professionally collected and managed lexicographic sources, the main purpose of which is to notice and record new lexical phenomena in a timely manner, to determine their norms and to provide recommendations to language users. Without it, it would be difficult to assimilate any current Lithuanian vocabulary. 2. Data cannot and should not be transferred blindly to dictionaries. They are the primary material for further research and methodical lexicographic processing of the dictionary. How many and what new words from the Duomeny are drawn into one or another dictionary depends on the purpose, scope, purpose, and principles of creation of that dictionary. 3. Common Lithuanian language dictionary […] normative explanatory dictionary of the current Lithuanian language. A new normative lexicon should be included in it from Duomenyno. So, the big, unfortunate, part of the title of the Duomeny (the holiness, jargon, slang, part of the uncodified lexicon, etc.) does not apply to this dictionary. Also, due to the rare use, individual, authoritarian innovations, opportunism were uncovered. 4. By deciding whether a new word is to be presented in the Word, the new semantinė struktūra, reikšmių apibrėžtys, darybiniai ryšiai, vedinių vartosena ir kt. Į šį žodyną trauktini tik pakankamai dažni, platesnės vartojimo words of its field (non-specific terms) are checked and specified. 5. When applying the data of the Duomeny to the Word, attention should be paid to the syntactic verbs, the plurality of the new words, the formulation of the definitions. 6. the abstract of the regular work corresponding to the selection criteria shall be presented in sequence next to the verbs. Therefore, I decided to provide in it the new verb found in the Duomeny or its Articles of the 85th Naujažodžių duomenyno leksika pakeliui į Bendrinės lietuvių kalbos žodyną -imas / -ymas, būtina ištirti ir kito iš šios poros narių galimą buvimą ir varabstract, made with the prefix tosen. If the latter corresponds to the aforementioned selection criteria of the Word (normality, frequency of use, prevalence, etc.), it is also included in the dictionary. 7.In the introduction to the database, after listing the nature of the information it contains, it is stated: 'Thus, the database is more than a dictionary, illustrated, among other things, by authentic facts of the past (with the sources indicated) and photographs.' This is the first time that the European Parliament has been consulted on this matter. Well, it would be more accurate to say that it is a collection of lexical data and information about them, different from a dictionary (having other purposes, solving other tasks, performing different functions and otherwise systematic) from which dictionaries extract knowledge in order to provide a new lexicon in lexicographic publications. In order to do this properly, it is necessary to work, among other things, by filling in and clarifying the information accumulated in the Duomeny, which is not as rich and detailed. The results of this work should be visible in time in systematically prepared dictionaries reflecting the current situation. The latter, in turn, could also be useful to the same Duomenny, both in clarifying the semantic structure of new words, their definitions, and so on. In short, if the Dictionary is a tool for the scientific works of the language (for lexicographers, lexicographers, language standardizers) and a useful fact-collection (ibid.), then the Dictionary should be one of its auxiliary works. Articles of the 87th Naujažodžių duomenyno leksika pakeliui į Bendrinės lietuvių kalbos žodyną The Lexis of the Database of Lithuanian Neologisms Is on Its Way to the Dictionary of Standard Lithuanian Summary The Database of Lithuanian Neologisms is a unique source for the Dictionary of Standard Lithuanian, satisfying the needs of dictionary compilers who update the dictionary on a regular basis and for that purpose require information about all new lexis and its codification. The two databases of the lexicon differ in their aims, goals, functions, methodological principles of compilation and data selection, structure, and system. Before entering the Dictionary, the materials of the Database should be lexicographically processed. When investigating the database, an attempt was made by dictionary compilers to adjust the data of the database identify the way of neologisms to the Dictionary; what should be taken into consideration for the purposes of the dictionary. To pursue the aims of the investigation, verbs and their suffixal derivatives were selected, namely deverbal abstract nouns derived with the help of the suffix -imas/-ymas. They include neologisms, such as new coinages, borrowings and hybrids, and already existing words which have acquired new meanings. It was established that in order to decide which neologisms should be included in the Dictionary, some important aspects had to be taken into consideration, such as the regularity of deriving abstract nouns from verbs, reflexive derivatives, polysemy, meanings of neologisms and their definitions, and normativity. Despite the fact that in theory the above abstract nouns can be derived from any verb, in case of neologisms such abstract noun-base verb pairs are actually used in about 3⁄4 of all potential cases. In the Database, only about 1725%, i.e. no more than 1⁄4 of the above group of neologisms, are given in pairs, including base verbs and derived abstract nouns. When deciding whether a neologism should be included in the dictionary, from a lexicographer's point of view, the pairs of verb-abstract noun derived with the help of the suffix "-imas" should be treated together, even if the database fails to give one member of the pair. In a similar way, simple and reflexive verbs and abstract deverbal nouns should be investigated. The definitions of the Database are the starting point when writing dictionary entries. On the basis of actual usage attested in the Database and found in other sources, the definition of meaning is updated by broadening or narrowing it, or starting another definition. It is often identified that a neologism has more meanings than attested in the database or several lexemes could be treated as one by suggesting a more abstract definition. A dictionary performs a normative function; Therefore, a large part of neologisms treated in the Database as non-normative, unacceptable, jargon, loans and borrowings are not transferred to the Dictionary. DAIVA MURMULAITYTĖ 88 of the Lithuanian Language Act LXXV Not all neologisms discussed in the paper should be included in the Dictionary; selection criteria include more than just innovativeness and normativity of the lexis. They also cover such aspects as purposefulness, frequency and spread of use, etc. The paper takes a broader perspective and seeks to demonstrate that the information of the database should be updated and processed before it becomes part of a dictionary, not necessarily the Dictionary of Standard Lithuanian. Presumably, the results of the investigation could contribute to establishing more rigid lexicographic principles when dealing with verbs and abstract adverbial nouns as well as with words of other lexical fields.
