Lietuvių ir latvių kalbų virpamųjų sonantų formantės skirtingose pozicijose: akustinis ir statistinis tyrimas

Abstract

    Straipsnyje pristatomas dabartinių baltų kalbų virpamųjų sonantų – lie. [r], [rj] ir la. [r] – formančių tyrimas, kuriuo siekiama palyginti prevokalinėje (<R>VR), intervokalinėje (V<R>V) ir postvokalinėje (RV<R>) pozicijose ištartų sonantų F1, F2, F3 ir F4 formantes, ištirti jų kitimą skirtingų balsių kontekste, išryškinti [r] ir [rj] formančių skirtumus lietuvių ir latvių kalbose bei nustatyti tų skirtumų statistinį reikšmingumą. Tyrimas rodo, kad pagal apibendrintas pirmųjų dviejų formančių reikšmes la. [r] užima tarpinę padėtį tarp nepalatalizuoto lie. [r] ir palatalizuoto lie. [rj]. Pozicija skiemenyje statistiškai reikšmingą įtaką daro lietuvių kalbos virpamųjų sonantų pirmajai formantei, o latvių kalboje – visoms keturioms formantėms. Nustatyta, kad gretimų balsių kontekstas dabartinių baltų kalbų virpamųjų sonantų formantėms daro panašią įtaką: pirmoji formantė susijusi su greta esančio balsio pakilimu, o antroji ir tolesnės formantės priklauso nuo gretimo balsio eilės.
