This p ocess has no only expanded he scale o in as uc u e and housing cons uc ion bu also
signi ican ly inc eased he demand o cons uc ion ma e ials. As a esul , en e p ises p oducing
such ma e ials ha e s eng hened hei ole and impo ance wi hin he na ional economy. The
e ec i e ope a ion o he cons uc ion ma e ials indus y con ibu es o supplying he domes ic
ma ke wi h high-quali y and compe i i e p oduc s, expanding expo po en ial, c ea ing new jobs,
and inc easing he g oss domes ic p oduc (GDP).

illion UZS in 2017, while by 2024 his igu e had eached 47.1 illion UZS. A he same ime,
he g ow h o expo olumes, he expansion o in es men in lows, and he ac i a ion o
localiza ion p og ams ha e u he s eng hened he s a egic impo ance o his sec o in
Uzbekis an’s economy. Howe e , ensu ing he sus ainable de elopmen o indus ial en e p ises

ma e ials wo h abou US$292 million om China, I an and Tu key. This si ua ion highligh s he

Main p oblems include:
1. Technological obsolescence: many small p oduce s s ill ope a e on equipmen ins alled in
he 1990s.
2. Lack o digi al managemen : only abou 12–15% o en e p ises use ERP o MRP sys ems.
3. Dis up ions in aw-ma e ial supply, pa icula ly anspo -logis ics issues acing egional
en e p ises.

Uzbekis an, only a mino i y o manu ac u e s (a ound 12–15 %) ha e success ully implemen ed
ERP o MRP sys ems. The di icul ies in ERP implemen a ion include echnical in eg a ion,
inancing cons ain s, o ganiza ional esis ance, and human esou ce limi a ions. Global ends
indica e ha mode n ERP solu ions (especially cloud-based) can uni y accoun ing, p ocu emen ,
supply chain, and p oduc ion planning, he eby s eamlining wo k lows, imp o ing da a

Conclusion
The esul s o his s udy indica e ha Uzbekis an’s cons uc ion ma e ials indus y
ep esen s one o he key s a egic sec o s con ibu ing o he coun y’s sus ainable economic
g ow h. By he end o 2024, he indus y accoun ed o 9.3% o o al indus ial ou pu and
con ibu ed app oxima ely 3.7 illion UZS o he na ional GDP. Despi e his p og ess, challenges
such as echnological obsolescence, he limi ed use o digi al managemen sys ems, logis ics
ine iciencies, and a high le el o impo dependency con inue o cons ain he sec o ’s ull
po en ial. The esea ch indings show ha mode nizing s a egic managemen sys ems wi hin
en e p ises can lead o he ollowing key ou comes:
