he 10 h s anda d. Fo his pu pose, a pu posi e sample o 30 boys and 30 gi ls om Jana a a High
School, Jaysingpu , was selec ed. The Sel -Con idence Tes de eloped by D . Rekha Gup a was
adminis e ed o hem. The da a ob ained was analyzed using he ‘ ’ es . The mean, s anda d de ia ion,
and ‘ ’ alue we e calcula ed o bo h g oups—boys and gi ls. The calcula ed ‘ ’ alue was ound o be
5.34, which is signi ican a he 0.01 le el. This indica es ha he e is a signi ican di e ence in he sel -
con idence le els o boys and gi ls in he 10 h s anda d.

Sel -con idence is one o he mos essen ial pe sonal a ibu es ha in luence an
indi idual’s hough s, emo ions, and beha io s. I can be de ined as he belie in one’s own
abili ies, quali ies, and judgmen . A sel -con iden pe son us s hei capaci y o ace
challenges, make decisions, and accomplish goals, whe eas a lack o sel -con idence o en leads
o hesi a ion, sel -doub , and a oidance o oppo uni ies. In oday’s as -paced and compe i i e
