and go e ned by he Uni e si y o Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB) and he Na ional Resea ch
Council (CNR), and has been o icially ecognized as such by he Minis y o Uni e si y
and Resea ch (MUR) since 2021.

The main objec i e o DASSI, in acco dance wi h CESSDA, in ol es suppo ing he scien-
i ic communi y, making i possible o conduc high-quali y esea ch in he ield o social
sciences. Speci ically, DASSI ope a es in o de o gua an ee he long- e m p ese a ion
and sha ing o esea ch da a, ensu ing he compliance wi h he FAIR p inciples¹. DASSI’s
ac i i ies aim a c ea ing alue om esea ch da a, imp o ing i s isibili y and accessi-
bili y, and p ecisely documen ing he whole da a cu a ion p ocess, o enable he scien i ic
communi y o use hese esou ces co ec ly and au onomously.

he Uni e si y o Milano-Bicocca (UNIMIB) and he Na ional Resea ch Council (CNR),
which es ablishes he o ms o collabo a ion be ween he wo pa ne s.
The JRU en isages he es ablishmen o wo in e nal bodies: he Managemen and
Coo dina ion Commi ee (I alian ac onym CGC) and he Scien i ic Technical Commi ee
(I alian ac onym CTS). The o me is he DASSI go e nance boa d, which coo dina es and
manages all he ac i i ies, and consis s o membe s belonging o he pa ne ins i u ions.

as making p oposals and p o iding consul ancy on he issues ela ing o he planning
