INTRODUCTION

linguis ics eme ged as an independen discipline in he 19 h cen u y and achie ed signi ican esul s
in he analysis o Indo-Eu opean languages.
The main ask o compa a i e linguis ics is o ind commonali ies be ween di e en languages, o
econs uc ancien language o ms, and o s udy he laws o language de elopmen . This di ec ion is
s ill ele an oday in linguis ics and his o ical linguis ics.
2. Compa a i e linguis ics
Compa a i e linguis ics, by compa ing he cu en s a e o se e al languages, iden i ies hei
di e ences and simila i ies. The main goal o his di ec ion is o show he commonali ies and
di e ences ha ha e p ac ical signi icance in he p ocess o language lea ning. Fo example, by
compa ing he g amma o lexicon o he English and Uzbek languages, i is possible o de elop an
e ec i e me hodology o s uden s.
Compa a i e linguis ics plays an impo an ole in he educa ional and me hodological p ocess.
Because i allows aking in o accoun g amma ical, phone ic, and seman ic di e ences in eaching
o eign languages. This di ec ion is also widely used in language policy and ansla ion p ac ice.

analysis and ha moniza ion, wha o ocus on in he ex , wha in o ma ion is needed, and wha o
ocus on o achie e he goal. T ansla ion is a complex p ocess ha in ol es linguis ics, psychology,
cul u e, he li e a y p ocess, and o he ac o s. T ansla ion, as a ype o speech, is ansla ed om a

Thus, " ansla ion" can be conside ed as a kind o ans o ma ion. I ollows ha he subjec o
