and ansla ion, aiming o demons a e how linguis ic esea ch in o ms and imp o es
ansla ion p ocesses.

The me hodology o his esea ch combines desc ip i e linguis ics, con as i e analysis, and
ansla ion s udies. A quali a i e design was adop ed o explo e how language compa ison
me hods con ibu e o ansla ion heo y and p ac ice. The ollowing sub-me hods and
ma e ials we e used in he s udy:
1. Linguis ic F amewo k: The esea ch analyzed di e en le els o language s uc u e,
including:
- Phonology: sound sys ems and hei implica ions o ansla ion o poe y, slogans, and o al
discou se.
- Mo phology: wo d o ma ion p ocesses such as a ixa ion and compounding, pa icula ly
compa ing analy ic languages like English wi h agglu ina i e languages like Uzbek.

• The s udy showed ha sound pa e ns o en c ea e challenges in poe y, ad e ising, and
slogans. English alli e a ion (“Pe e Pipe picked…”) does no always ha e an equi alen in
Uzbek o Russian. T ansla o s equen ly had o p io i ize meaning o e sound, which
esul ed in a pa ial loss o s ylis ic e ec .
2. Mo phological Le el
• Di e ences in wo d o ma ion be ween English (an analy ic language) and Uzbek (an
agglu ina i e language) c ea ed s uc u al misma ches. Fo ins ance, he English ph ase “in
he house” co esponds o a single Uzbek wo d uyda. This demons a es ha ansla o s o en
condense o expand ph ases depending on he a ge language s uc u e.
3. Syn ac ic Le el
• English has a ela i ely ixed Subjec -Ve b-Objec (SVO) wo d o de , while Uzbek and
Russian allow o g ea e lexibili y (SOV, OSV, e c.). As a esul , ansla ions o en equi ed
eo de ing sen ences o main ain na u al low in he a ge language. The esea ch ound ha
inco ec wo d o de in ansla ions could esul in unna u al o e en misleading sen ences.
4. Seman ic Le el
• Idioms, me apho s, and polysemous wo ds we e among he mos challenging elemen s. Fo
example, he English idiom “ o kick he bucke ” could no be li e ally ansla ed in o Uzbek
o Russian. Ins ead, equi alen cul u al exp essions (olamdan o‘ moq in Uzbek) we e used.
This highligh s he necessi y o cul u al adap a ion in ansla ion.
5. P agma ic Le el
• Poli eness and cul u al no ms s ongly a ec ed ansla ion choices. Di ec eques s such as
“Close he doo ” in English o en had o be so ened in Uzbek (Eshikni yopib qo‘ysangiz,
bo‘ladimi?) o sound poli e. This demons a ed how p agma ic no ms guide ansla ion
beyond g amma ical co ec ness.

Linguis ic analysis supplies he necessa y knowledge o language s uc u es, which helps

This s udy concludes ha language compa ison me hods and ansla ion esea ch a e deeply

di e ences, while ansla ion esea ch applies hese insigh s o b idge linguis ic and cul u al
