їнських видів з роду Mic olep es G a enho s , 1829. Два види вперше виявлено на території Івано-Франківської області, з яких M.
salisbu gensis Schwa z, 1991 – вперше вказано для України. Mic olep es splendidulus G a enho s , 1829 у зв’язку з помилковим визна-
ченням вилучено зі списку видів України, оскільки всі національні знахідки цього виду належать до M. obenbe ge i G ego , 1938.
Ключові слова: їздці-іхневмоніди, паразитоїди, нові знахідки, Українські Карпати.
In oduc ion
Mic olep es G a enho s , 1829 is a ela i ely small
genus o he sub amily Mic olep inae comp ising 19
species, o which 5 species a e dis ibu ed in Eu ope
(Schwa z, 1991; Humala, 2007; Yu e al., 2016; Ranji h e
al., 2024). Th ee species o he genus ha e been eco ded
om Uk aine so a (Va ga, 2024). This yea , yellow pan
aps we e placed by he au ho in swampy a eas co e ed
wi h alde inside he wo P eca pa hian deciduous o es s
esul ing in he collec ion o se e al specimens o wo
Mic olep es species, including he a e M. salisbu gensis
Schwa z, 1991, which is he i s Uk ainian and he
second Eu opean eco d o he species a e he o iginal
desc ip ion. I is signi ican ha he ype se ies o his
species was collec ed in simila habi a , he he b laye o a
loodplain o es (Alne um incanae) si ua ed S o Salzbu g
(Aus ia) (Schwa z, 1991).
Ma e ial and Me hods
The ouche specimens ea ed in his s udy we e
collec ed wi h hi y- i e yellow pan aps placed by he
au ho in wo swampy a eas among he P eca pa hian
deciduous o es s 12 and 23 km SW o I ano-F anki sk
in 2025 (Figs 1–4). The specimens a e deposi ed in he
collec ion o he Schmalhausen Ins i u e o Zoology, NAS
o Uk aine, Kyi (SIZK). Images o he specimens we e
aken using a Leica Z16 APO mic oscope equipped wi h
Leica FLEXACAM C1 came a and p ocessed by LAS
Co e so wa e a SIZK.

mo e o less quad a e (Fig. 5); in male i s lagellome e

Dis ibu ion. Czech Republic (Schwa z, 1991); I aly
(Di Gio anni e al., 2025); Uk aine: in he T ansca pa hian
Region as M. splendidulus (Va ga & Kos o-Amb oziak,
2021; Va ga, 2024), he eco d om Aus ia in Humala
(2003) seems o be mis aken.
Rema ks. Mic olep es obenbe ge i is a a e Eu opean species
known so a only om he ype specimen collec ed in B no (Czech
Republic). This species is e y simila o M. splendidulus and di e s
only sligh ly in he shape o he emples and hickness o he an enna,
cha ac e s which a e howe e poo ly illus a ed in Schwa z (1991) and
hus a e di icul o in e p e . Consequen ly, a la ge se ies o specimens
collec ed in he oak o es nea Vynog adi (T ansca pa hia) was
e oneously iden i ied and published as M. splendidulus (Va ga & Kos o-
Amb oziak, 2021; Va ga, 2024). Howe e , a well-illus a ed ecen ly
published eco d o M. obenbe ge i om I aly and he disco e y o a
specimen o he ue M. splendidulus among unso ed ma e ials a SIZK
(collec ed in he Russian Fa Eas , Kunashy island) made i possible o
emo e he ambigui y in he dis inc ion o hese wo species. Females o
he wo species can be sepa a ed based on he widened emples (Fig. 6)
and quad a e median lagellome es (Fig. 5) in M. obenbe ge i in con as
o na owe emples (Fig. 8) and dis inc ly ans e se lagellome es (Fig.
7) in M. splendidulus. Iden i ica ion o males emains a challenge: he
species can be dis inguished only on he basis o he shape o he emples.
Cu iously, he ecen key p o ided in Ranji h e al. (2024) s a ed ha male
o M. obenbe ge i has sligh ly na owed emples compa ed o subpa allel
ones in M. splendidulus, bu based on he emale mo phology hese
c i e ia should p obably be e e sed. All he examined Uk ainian males
o M. obenbe ge i ha e emples only sligh ly na owe han in emales.

emains unclea since he e a e no emales associa ed wi h hem.

Mic olep es salisbu gensis Schwa z, 1991 (Figs 9–13)
Ma e ial examined. Uk aine: I ano-F anki sk Region, Mocha y,
deciduous o es , 35 yellow pan aps, 48.823424, 24.582265, 03–
08.06.2025, 1 ♂, 2 ♀ (O. Va ga) (SIZK).
Diagnosis. This species can be dis inguished om
congene s by he combina ion o he ollowing cha ac e s:
ace smoo h and shiny, wi h a ec angula p ojec ion in he
uppe hal ; clypeus wi hou an apical ube cle (Figs 10,
13); an enna s ou , wi h 14–17 lagellome es, emale i s
lagellome e 2.2–2.4 imes as long as maximum wid h,
male i s h ee lagellome es abou he same leng h, wi h
yloids (Fig. 13); p opodeum ugulose, cos ulae absen
(Fig. 11).
Dis ibu ion. Aus ia (Schwa z, 1991), Uk aine ( i s
eco d), Mongolia (Humala, 2003), Russia (Chi a Oblas
and P ymo sky K ai) (Humala, 2007).
