languages such as English and agglu ina i e languages such as Uzbek o examine

gaps, idioma ic exp essions, and p agma ic meaning ac oss languages.

5. Analy ical Techniques
• Con as i e Analysis: Used o highligh s uc u al and seman ic di e ences ac oss
languages.
• Quali a i e Analysis: Applied o in e p e cul u al and con ex ual aspec s o
ansla ion.
• Desc ip i e T ansla ion S udies (DTS): Used o obse e how ansla ion unc ions in
eal communica i e si ua ions a he han p esc ibing how i “should” be done.
• Compa a i e E alua ion: Di e en ansla ions o he same ex we e compa ed o

6. Limi a ions o he S udy
• The s udy was limi ed o selec ed language pai s (English–Uzbek, English–Russian,
and English–F ench) and did no co e all wo ld languages.

analyzed.

compounding, and eduplica ion in English, Uzbek, and Russian. Special a en ion was

endencies in Uzbek) and sen ence complexi y.
• Seman ic Le el: Analysis o polysemy, synonymy, an onymy, and lexical gaps ha

• P agma ic Le el: S udy o speech ac s, poli eness s a egies, and con ex ual meaning
ha equi e cul u al knowledge beyond g amma and ocabula y.

language di e ences, guiding mo e e ec i e eaching s a egies, mo e accu a e
ansla ions, and mo e nuanced c oss-linguis ic heo ies. As long as languages emain
di e se and communica ion ac oss language bounda ies pe sis s, he me hods and
insigh s o con as i e linguis ics will emain indispensable in illumina ing he
