o bioac i e compounds o educed he apeu ic e ec i eness. Consequen ly, es ablishing he mos
sui able packaging ma e ial and accu a ely de e mining he shel li e ha gua an ees he p ese a ion
o he ea’s quali a i e cha ac e is ics is no only a scien i ic necessi y bu also a c i ical p ac ical ask
o ensu ing p oduc s abili y, pa ien sa e y, and clinical use ulness.
The aim o he s udy. To s udy he s o age condi ions o “HEPASILIMARIN” he bal ea in
a ious packaging ma e ials and o de e mine he op imal s o age du a ion and condi ions based on
hei impac on quali y pa ame e s.
Ma e ials and Me hods. The objec o s udy was he he bal ea “HEPASILIMARIN” wi h he
ollowing composi ion: milk his le seeds (Silybum ma ianum) – 2.0 g; peppe min lea es (Men ha
pipe i a) – 1.0 g; co n silk (Zea mays) – 2.0 g. The p oduc was packaged in h ee ypes o con aine s
pe mi ed o medical use: pape il e -bag + ca dboa d box; nylon il e -bag + ca dboa d box;
aluminum oil package (mul i-use) + ca dboa d box. Du ing s o age, he ollowing indica o s we e
e alua ed: appea ance, colo , mois u e con en , pa icle size, weigh pe bag, amoun o wa e -soluble
ex ac i e subs ances, o al la onoids (as u in), and mic obiological pu i y. S o age expe imen s
we e ca ied ou unde na u al condi ions — a oom empe a u e (20 ± 2 °C, ela i e humidi y 50–
65%) o 30 mon hs, wi h analyses epea ed e e y 6 mon hs.
Resul s and Discussion. Th oughou he expe imen , he con en o bioac i e subs ances and
he main quali y indica o s we e p ese ed ac oss all packaging ypes. Howe e , samples s o ed in
aluminum oil packages demons a ed he highes s abili y. Nylon packages also main ained a o able
esul s, while some quali y pa ame e s we e ela i ely lowe in eas s o ed in pape il e -bags. The
e ec i eness o packaging ma e ials anked as ollows: aluminum oil > nylon > pape il e . Based
on he ob ained esul s, i was es ablished ha he quali y indica o s o “GEPASILIMARIN” he bal
ea emain wi hin accep able s anda ds o up o 2 yea s. The e o e, he use o aluminum oil o nylon
il e -bags is ecommended in p ac ice.
Conclusion. The op imal shel li e o “HEPASILIMARIN” he bal ea has been de e mined as
2 yea s. Packaging ma e ial plays a c ucial ole in main aining p oduc quali y, wi h aluminum oil
