Rele ance: Mycoses o he skin a e a common global p oblem, a ec ing 20-30% o he wo ld's
popula ion and anking second among all skin diseases. In ec ion occu s h ough con ac wi h in ec ed
people o objec s, as well as in public places such as swimming pools . The p e alence o mycoses
does no depend on geog aphy o clima e, bu on ac o s such as age, immune s a us, he p esence o
ch onic diseases, and hygiene. The incidence o diseases inc eases wi h age, especially mycoses o
he ee , which can be ound in e e y second pa ien o e 70 yea s o age. The aim o he s udy was
o de e mine he physicochemical and echnological p ope ies o he subs ance clo imazole A.
Clo imazole C22H17ClN2 whi e o whi e wi h a yellowish in c ys alline powde . Soluble in alcohol
96%, sligh ly soluble in e he , p ac ically insoluble in wa e . Clo imazole is a b oad-spec um
an i ungal agen o opical use. I s an i ungal e ec is due o he dis up ion o e gos e ol syn hesis, a
componen o ungal cell memb anes. This al e s memb ane pe meabili y and causes subsequen cell
