The sea ch o e ec i e d ugs based on local aw ma e ials is a p essing issue in pha maceu ical
science and p ac ical heal hca e. One o he new d ugs is a modi ied sup amolecula complex o
albendazole, ecommended as an e ec i e an ipa asi ic agen o e e ina y p ac ice.

Objec i e o he s udy: The physicomechanical p ope ies o able s ob ained using he
ecommended composi ion and de eloped echnology we e e alua ed using gene ally accep ed
me hods speci ied in he S a e Pha macopoeia (SPh) XI, USP 23, and BP.
Resea ch me hods: Twen y able s we e isually inspec ed wi h he naked eye o able
appea ance. De ia ions om he a e age able weigh we e de e mined using elec onic scales using
me hods desc ibed in he li e a u e. Table diame e and ac u e s eng h we e de e mined using an
ERRWEKA ins umen wi h a measu emen ange o 1-400 N, a ole ance o ±1 N, and a diame e
o ±0.5 mm.
Table ab asion esis ance was es ed using an ERRWEKA PAR200 able ab asion es e wi h
a me ological cha ac e is ic o 25 pm and a ole ance o ±1 pm.

me ological cha ac e is ic o 28-32 s okes/min.
Key esul s and conclusions: The able s s udied we e whi e in appea ance wi h a yellowish-
siliceous in . The a e age weigh de ia ion was 3.5%, he heigh - o-diame e a io was 2.9, he
b eaking s eng h o he esul ing able s was 65N, and he ab asion esis ance was 99.7%. The
disin eg a ion ime o he able samples p oduced using he ecommended composi ion and
echnology was 225 seconds.
Thus, he expe imen al s udies demons a ed ha modi ied Albendazole able s p epa ed using
he ecommended composi ion and he de eloped echnology mee all quali y pa ame e s se by
egula o y documen s. This ensu es he p oduc ion o high-quali y able s using mode n able ing
machines.
