ABSTRACT
In he mode n educa ion sys em, i is no enough o s uden s o acqui e only academic
knowledge; de eloping hei social and emo ional compe encies is also o g ea impo ance.
Emo ional in elligence and adap abili y a e key p e equisi es o success ul socializa ion,
eadiness o li elong lea ning, and e ec i e ac ion in a apidly changing en i onmen . The
c ea ion o a STEM pa k makes i possible o o m an adap i e educa ional en i onmen ,
which, h ough echnology-based and p ojec -based expe iences, p o ides condi ions o
de eloping hese compe encies. In such an en i onmen , s uden s lea n o egula e hei
emo ions, adap o new si ua ions, hink c ea i ely, and wo k e ec i ely in eams. The
pu pose o his s udy is o iden i y ways o de eloping s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and
adap abili y h ough STEM echnologies and o highligh he need o in eg a ing he STEM
pa k in o he educa ional p ocess. Me hodologically, li e a u e e iew, heo e ical analysis,
p ojec -based and expe imen al me hods, obse a ion, expe analysis, and isualiza ion
echniques we e applied. P ojec s and expe imen s ca ied ou wi h STEM ools (A duino, 3D
p in ing, obo ics) demons a ed high e ec i eness in enhancing s uden s’ emo ional
in elligence and adap abili y, clea ly e ealing he necessi y o es ablishing a STEM pa k. As
p e equisi es o c ea ing a STEM pa k, an o ganized educa ional en i onmen was ound o
no only deepen s uden s’ academic knowledge bu also con ibu e o he comp ehensi e

INTRODUCTION
In he 21s cen u y, he educa ion sys em is unde going undamen al changes.
Globaliza ion, digi al ans o ma ion, and he apid de elopmen o he labo ma ke
equi e s uden s o acqui e no only subjec -speci ic knowledge bu also uni e sal,
lexible, and adap i e skills. Among hese, emo ional in elligence and adap abili y
s and ou as some o he mos impo an compe encies o mode n imes. They se e

The de elopmen o emo ional in elligence and adap abili y has become a
p essing subjec o s udy wi hin he global pedagogical communi y. The UN,
UNESCO, and o he in e na ional o ganiza ions conside 21s Cen u y Skills as one o
he key p io i ies o educa ion sys ems and a e iden i ying e ec i e ways o in eg a e
hem in o he lea ning p ocess. The o ma ion o hese compe encies should no be
limi ed o academic educa ion alone bu mus also be based on heo e ical and
me hodological ounda ions ha suppo s uden s’ social, pe sonal, and emo ional
de elopmen .
In his ega d, designing an adap i e educa ional en i onmen based on STEM
echnologies plays a c ucial ole in de eloping s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and
adap abili y. Such an en i onmen enables s uden s no only o enhance hei
abili ies in ecognizing and managing emo ions, eamwo k, and c ea i e ac i i y bu
also o imp o e hei capaci y o abso b new knowledge, make decisions in complex
si ua ions, and adap o change.
P oblem-based lea ning me hods also hold signi ican impo ance in STEM
educa ion. Resea ch by Ma inez and colleagues demons a ed ha g oup asks
s eng hen leade ship, communica ion, and analy ical hinking skills [1]. These
me hodologies also help accoun o s uc u al di e ences in ansi ional po en ial,
aking in o conside a ion he di e se egional condi ions and socio-economic
de elopmen cha ac e is ics o Kazakhs an [2].
This s udy, in pa icula , in es iga es e ec i e ways o de eloping emo ional
in elligence and adap abili y in he educa ional p ocess h ough he use o STEM
echnologies, he eby s eng hening s uden s’ unc ional and social compe encies
[3]. The in eg a i e model p oposed in his wo k in oduces a new pe spec i e in o
he educa ion sys em, laying he ounda ion o s uden s’ mas e y o 21s -cen u y
skills and hei u u e p o essional success. Such comp ehensi e de elopmen
enhances no only s uden s’ echnical knowledge bu also hei emo ional esilience
and social adap abili y.
These me hodologies can also be applied o g aphema ic analysis o Kazakh-
language ex s [4] and o he e alua ion o he Eu opean Union’s new s a egy o he
Cen al Asian egion, aking in o accoun egional geopoli ical con ex s [5].

di e ences in Kazakh and English-language business communica ion and he
de elopmen o e ec i e c oss-cul u al communica ion s a egies [6].
S a egies o de eloping s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and adap abili y
wi hin STEM educa ion a e widely discussed in in e na ional esea ch. Fo example,
Salman and colleagues show ha he use o coope a i e lea ning me hods in STEM
subjec s plays a key ole in os e ing s uden s’ collabo a ion, communica ion, and
leade ship skills [7].
In hei s udy on adap abili y, Lee and Kim [8] emphasize he impac o na ional
and social con ex s on s uden s’ adap i e abili ies. Rahman, in his esea ch on
cons uc i is me hods, demons a ed h ough STEM p ojec s he e ec i eness o
such app oaches in enhancing s uden s’ c i ical hinking and social adap abili y [9].
Following he COVID-19 pandemic, demand o emo ional in elligence and
adap abili y has inc eased signi ican ly. Konzello and his esea ch eam highligh ed

in elligence and adap abili y. Howe e , hei heo e ical ounda ions emain
unsys ema ized and insu icien ly analyzed in he con ex o STEM educa ion. This
educes he e ec i eness o eaching and c ea es di icul ies in making
me hodological decisions. The e o e, designing an adap i e educa ional
en i onmen based on STEM echnologies o enhance s uden s’ emo ional
in elligence and adap abili y is a scien i ically ele an issue.
RESEARCH METHODOLOGY
This s udy examined an adap i e educa ional en i onmen based on STEM
echnologies ha os e s he de elopmen o s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and
adap abili y. A se o me hods was applied in a comp ehensi e manne :
• Li e a u e e iew and heo e ical analysis. The heo e ical ounda ions o he
concep s o emo ional in elligence and adap abili y we e examined, and a
compa a i e analysis was conduc ed om he pe spec i es o cons uc i ism,
humanis ic pedagogy, and social-cogni i e heo y.
• P ojec -based and expe imen al me hods. S uden s comple ed p ojec s using
STEM ools (A duino, 3D p in ing, obo ic ki s, mechanical models) and sol ed
expe imen al asks.
• Obse a ion and expe analysis. Du ing p ojec and g oup wo k, s uden s’
emo ion egula ion, adap a ion o new si ua ions, and collabo a ion we e
di ec ly obse ed and subjec ed o desc ip i e analysis.
• Quali a i e esea ch me hods. Case examples desc ibing s uden s’ c ea i e,
communica i e, and esea ch ac i i ies we e collec ed.
• Visualiza ion me hods. Models c ea ed wi h 3D p in ing, A duino-based
p o o ypes, and STEM ki s we e used in he eaching p ocess, and hei
e ec i eness was compa a i ely e alua ed.
By combining hese me hods, he impac o STEM echnologies on he
de elopmen o s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and adap abili y was
comp ehensi ely iden i ied.
RESEARCH FINDINGS
Emo ional in elligence and adap abili y a e among he key compe encies ha
ensu e he holis ic de elopmen o s uden s’ pe sonali ies in he mode n educa ion
sys em. Emo ional in elligence is he abili y o unde s and and manage one’s own
emo ions, show empa hy owa ds he emo ions o o he s, and es ablish e ec i e
communica ion. Adap abili y, in u n, e e s o a s uden ’s capaci y o quickly adjus
o changing condi ions, acqui e new knowledge, and sol e unexpec ed challenges
in a c ea i e way. These wo compe encies o m he co e o 21s -cen u y skills and
gain unique oppo uni ies o de elopmen wi hin an educa ional en i onmen
o ganized on he basis o STEM echnologies.

In his s udy, eaching ools and expe imen al models de eloped on he basis

de ices. Fo example, a de ice designed o au oma ically sol e a Rubik’s cube,
models wi h mechanical mo emen , and scien i ic-educa ional p o o ypes
p oduced by 3D p in ing we e applied in he lea ning p ocess. These ools we e
aimed no only a ein o cing s uden s’ subjec knowledge bu also a de eloping
hei c ea i e abili ies, emo ional in elligence, and adap abili y o new si ua ions.

The use o STEM echnologies had a clea impac no only on he de elopmen
o s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and adap abili y bu also on hei cogni i e and

wi hin g oups, and demons a e empa hy. Sol ing echnical challenges encoun e ed
in new si ua ions enhanced hei adap abili y and s eng hened hei lexible
hinking skills. Mo eo e , ac i i ies ca ied ou wi h STEM ools c ea ed oppo uni ies
o s uden s o hink c i ically, p esen new ideas c ea i ely, and apply analysis and
syn hesis. G oup and p ojec wo k u he de eloped hei communica ion,
collabo a ion, and leade ship skills. Such expe iences no only en iched s uden s’

ensu ing u u e p o essional success.
CONCLUSION
The esul s o he s udy con i med ha an adap i e educa ional en i onmen
o ganized on he basis o STEM echnologies plays a signi ican ole in de eloping
s uden s’ emo ional in elligence and adap abili y. Du ing p ac ical and p ojec -
based asks, lea ne s acqui ed skills in managing hei emo ions, showing empa hy,
and wo king in eams; hey we e also able o hink c ea i ely in new si ua ions and
ind al e na i e solu ions o p oblems. The use o STEM ools enhanced hei
cogni i e ac i i y, while also imp o ing hei c i ical hinking, communica ion, and
leade ship abili ies.
In addi ion, i was e ealed ha he applica ion o STEM echnologies p o ides
oppo uni ies no only o academic achie emen bu also o he comp ehensi e
de elopmen o s uden s’ pe sonal, social, and p o essional compe encies. Such an
app oach p epa es lea ne s in line wi h he equi emen s o he 21s cen u y and
es ablishes a solid ounda ion o hei u u e p o essional and pe sonal success.
