sui abili y o he mold o ex empo al p oduc ion in pha macies. 3. Sugges apid quali y con ol
me hods based on he equi emen s o he Pha macopoeia.
Ma e ials and me hods: The s udy was based on pha macopoeial a icles o he S a e
Pha macopoeia o he Russian Fede a ion and scien i ic a icles on quali y con ol o chewable
pas illes. The analysis uses he ollowing me hods: con en analysis, desc ip i e and compa a i e
analysis.
Resul s: Chewable pas illes a e a dosage o m in which he ac i e subs ance is dis ibu ed in
an elas ic‑plas ic, non- lowing base. Unlike pas illes and lozenges, his o m is designed o chewing
and is mainly ocused on achie ing a sys emic e ec . O ganolep ic de iciencies o medicines a e
e ec i ely le eled by he use o la o ings and swee ene s, which inc eases adhe ence o ea men .
The echnological p ocess is ela i ely simple and in ol es mel ing he gela in mass wi h subsequen
dosing o he mel in o silicone molds. As an exp ess me hod o quan i a i e analysis, i ime y is
sui able a e sample p epa a ion, which consis s in dissol ing he lozenge in a boiling wa e ba h
wi h subsequen cooling.
Conclusions: chewable pas illes a e a dosage o m wi h an elas ic-plas ic, non- lowing base,
in ended o chewing and mainly sys emic ac ion. The mold is echnologically a ailable o
ex empo al p oduc ion in pha macies. Simple echnological schemes (gela in mass mel - dosage in o
molds) and exp ess con ol ( i ime y a e dissolu ion in a wa e ba h) a e p oposed. Fo sa e
implemen a ion, chewable pas illes should be sepa a ed as an independen dosage o m and
accele a ed me hods should be de eloped acco ding o he equi emen s o he Pha macopoeia wi h
hei subsequen alida ion.
