Objec i e: To selec he ype o ex ac an o ob aining an ex ac om he s igmas o Zea
mays wi h he highes yield o la onoids.
Ma e ials and me hods: D ied co n silk ha me he equi emen s o he S a e Pha macopoeia
o he Republic o Uzbekis an was used as aw ma e ial. Ex ac ion was ca ied ou by mace a ion a
a aw ma e ial-ex ac an a io o 1:10. Mace a ion is a me hod o in using plan aw ma e ials in an
ex ac an a oom empe a u e wi h pe iodic s i ing, which ensu es g adual and uni o m ex ac ion
o ac i e subs ances. Wa e and alcohol solu ions o a ious concen a ions (40%, 50%, 60%, 70%,
80%, and 90%) we e used as ex ac an s. The quan i a i e de e mina ion o he o al la onoids was
ca ied ou by spec opho ome ic me hod in e ms o lu eolin-7-glycoside.
Resul s: The analysis e ealed ha he concen a ion o he ex ac an has a signi ican e ec
on he yield o la onoids. The highes peak alue was eco ded when using 60% e hanol.

o 0.35%.
Conclusions: The op imal ex ac an o ob aining a d y ex ac o co n silk by mace a ion is
60% e hanol, which ensu es maximum la onoid ex ac ion. This app oach allows ob aining a
s anda dized ex ac wi h high biological ac i i y, which opens up p ospec s o i s u he use in he
de elopmen o dosage o ms.
