Аннотация: В статье рассматривается использование инновационных методов
обучения на основе STEAM на уроках английского языка. Интеграция науки,
технологий, инженерии, искусства и математики способствует развитию у учащихся
креативности, коммуникации и критического мышления. Подход STEAM делает
изучение английского языка более увлекательным и практичным для учащихся XXI
века.

The STEAM app oach in educa ion is an e olu ion o he well-known STEM model. By
adding “A ” o he adi ional STEM componen s, educa o s b ing c ea i i y and imagina ion
in o he lea ning p ocess. This inclusion o a is ic hinking allows s uden s o design,
isualize, and p esen hei ideas in exp essi e and meaning ul ways. In English lessons, he
STEAM me hodology p o ides a pla o m o s uden s o lea n language h ough c ea i i y
and disco e y a he han o e memo iza ion. STEAM-based eaching ocuses on he
de elopmen o p ac ical and analy ical skills h ough eal-wo ld applica ions. Fo example,
du ing a lesson on en i onmen al p o ec ion, s uden s may conduc a simple science
expe imen , collec da a, and hen p esen hei indings in English. This kind o ask
in eg a es science, echnology, and language skills while os e ing eamwo k and
communica ion. Simila ly, while s udying echnological inno a ions, lea ne s can p epa e
digi al p esen a ions, design pos e s, o c ea e sho ideos whe e hey explain a concep in
English, combining echnology, a , and language lea ning. Ano he impo an aspec o

essen ial ole in mode n STEAM-based English class ooms. Teache s can use in e ac i e
applica ions, i ual eali y expe iences, and online quizzes o engage lea ne s. Fo ins ance,
using apps like Kahoo , Quizizz, o Can a, s uden s can collabo a e, compe e, and lea n
ocabula y o g amma in enjoyable ways. Technology also allows he use o i ual labs o
online exhibi ions, whe e lea ne s can desc ibe expe imen s o inno a ions using English as
a communica ion medium. Fu he mo e, he A componen o STEAM encou ages c ea i e
ac i i ies such as s o y elling, ole-play, and d ama iza ion. S uden s migh w i e sho s o ies
inspi ed by scien i ic ac s o ac ou dialogues ela ed o social o echnological hemes.
These a is ic expe iences enhance emo ional in elligence, empa hy, and linguis ic luency.

P ac ical Expe ience: To iden i y he e ec i eness o STEAM-based eaching in English
lessons, a small expe imen was conduc ed wi h wo g oups o 7 h-g ade s uden s a he S a e
Specialized Boa ding School No. 3 in Ma hama Dis ic , Andijan Region. The expe imen al
g oup lea ned h ough STEAM-in eg a ed lessons, while he con ol g oup ollowed he
adi ional me hod. Du ing a ou -week pe iod, he expe imen al g oup pa icipa ed in
p ojec -based and in e disciplina y ac i i ies. Fo ins ance, in one lesson i led “My D eam
House,” s uden s used elemen s o enginee ing and a by designing 3D models o eco-
iendly houses om pape and ecyclable ma e ials. They hen desc ibed he houses in
English using ocabula y ela ed o colo s, ma e ials, and en i onmen al p o ec ion. In
ano he p ojec called “Wa e in Ou Li e,” s uden s explo ed he scien i ic and en i onmen al
aspec s o wa e h ough mini-expe imen s. They measu ed wa e pu i y, discussed esul s,
and w o e sho English epo s on how o sa e wa e . These lessons in eg a ed Science, A ,
and English, os e ing c ea i i y and p ac ical communica ion. A he end o he expe imen ,
s uden s we e es ed h ough a speaking and w i ing ask. Resul s showed ha he STEAM-
based g oup demons a ed a 25% imp o emen in speaking luency and 30% highe
engagemen compa ed o he con ol g oup. Lea ne s exp essed g ea e mo i a ion and
con idence in using English o eal-li e communica ion. In conclusion, STEAM-based
inno a i e eaching me hods signi ican ly en ich English language educa ion by connec ing
linguis ic skills wi h c ea i i y, c i ical hinking, and eal-wo ld p oblem-sol ing. The
