Ma e ials and me hods: he esea ch was based on o icial egis y da a (2020–2025) p o ided
by he Cen e o Pha maceu ical Sa e y o he Minis y o Heal h o he Republic o Uzbekis an. The
analysis included in o ma ion on he numbe o egis e ed o eign medicines, dis ibu ed by
manu ac u ing coun ies and pha maco he apeu ic g oups. A compa a i e analysis me hod was
applied, and he ob ained esul s we e p esen ed as pe cen ages.
Resul s: The de elopmen o in e na ional coope a ion in he pha maceu ical sec o o
Uzbekis an is associa ed wi h he expansion o pa ne ships wi h leading global manu ac u e s, he
ac i e in oduc ion o inno a i e and bio echnological medicines, as well as he es ablishmen o join
esea ch p ojec s. Be ween 2020 and 2025, mo e han 6,000 medicines we e egis e ed in Uzbekis an,
o e 3,000 o which we e o eign. The leading posi ions in e ms o egis e ed medicines a e occupied
by India (40%), Russia (10%), Tu key and Uk aine (8% each), which indica es a high deg ee o
in eg a ion o he na ional pha maceu ical ma ke in o he global sys em. Among he egis e ed
medicines, he la ges sha e belongs o an ibio ics, an ineoplas ic agen s, and non-s e oidal an i-
in lamma o y d ugs. O e all, he e is a endency owa d an inc ease in he sha e o inno a i e o eign
medicines, which con ibu es o he de elopmen o he pha maceu ical sec o in he coun y and
s eng hens he na ional heal hca e sys em.
Conclusions: o e he pas i e yea s, Uzbekis an has demons a ed a s eady inc ease in he
numbe o egis e ed o eign medicines. The majo i y o egis a ions come om India, Russia,
Tu key, and Uk aine, which con i ms he in ensi ica ion o in e na ional pha maceu ical coope a ion
and he in eg a ion o he na ional ma ke in o he global sys em. The dominance o an ibio ics,
an ineoplas ic agen s, and non-s e oidal an i-in lamma o y d ugs among egis e ed medicines e lec s
he cu en needs o heal hca e. A he same ime, he g owing sha e o inno a i e o eign medicines
