polysaccha ides, annins, essen ial oils, bi e subs ances, asco bic acid, okanin, α- ocophe ol and
lu eolin. The complex composi ion o hese subs ances de e mines he pha macological ac i i y o
he plan . In pa icula , i amins such as asco bic acid and α- ocophe ol exhibi he an ioxidan
ac i i y o he plan , and he combina ion o hese biologically ac i e compounds con i ms he
medicinal p ope ies o he Bidens ondosa L. and jus i ies i s use in a ious pa hological condi ions.
Pu pose o he s udy: The pu pose o he s udy is o conduc a quan i a i e analysis o asco bic
acid and he main biologically ac i e subs ances wi h he apeu ic e ec s in Bidens ondosa L.
Ma e ials and me hods: The abo e-g ound pa s o he plan Bidens ondosa L., collec ed in
he Tashken egion (Kib ai dis ic , Augus –Sep embe 2023–2024) and d ied unde na u al
condi ions by ai d ying a a empe a u e no exceeding 35–40 °C. Asco bic acid, which belongs o
wa e -soluble i amins, was de e mined in he sample using high-pe o mance liquid ch oma og aphy
(HPLC, Agilen -1200, equipped wi h an au o-dispense ). A 5–10 g sample o plan ma e ial, weighed
on analy ical scales, was placed in a 300 ml la -bo omed lask. Ex ac ion was ca ied ou wice
using a wa e -alcohol ex ac an . The esul ing il a es we e combined, placed in a 100 ml olume ic
lask and b ough o he ma k wi h 40% e hanol (5–10% o he olume). The esul ing solu ion was
cen i uged a 7000 pm o 10 minu es. The supe na an pa o he solu ion was used o analysis.
