adi ional medicine. The lea es and s ems a e used in he ea men o li e diseases, he

ex e nally o abscesses and acne. The ae ial pa and oo s o he plan a e used in Tibe an medicine
o he ea men o umo s, abscesses, as an an helmin ic, and o an h ax.
The aim o his s udy was o in es iga e he neu al lipids o he ae ial pa o A. juncea collec ed
in he Bukha a egion.
Ma e ials and me hods. The con en o neu al lipids (NL) was de e mined in iplica e by
mace a ion using ex ac ion-g ade pe oleum e he (b.p. 72–80 °C). The quali a i e composi ion o
NL classes was iden i ied by analy ical hin-laye ch oma og aphy on silica gel using a hexane–
die hyl e he (4:1) sol en sys em. The iden i ica ion o spo s on he pla es was ca ied ou based on
speci ic eac ions and by compa ing he (R ) alues wi h hose o e e ence compounds.
Resul s. The con en o NL was 1,60% on a d y weigh basis. The NL composi ion included
unsa u a ed hyd oca bons, alipha ic alcohols, ee a y acids, ee i e penols, and phy os e ols.
T iacylglyce ols we e p esen in ace amoun s. Acco ding o spec opho ome ic da a, he ca o enoid
con en in NL was 25,0 mg%. Fa y acids we e isola ed om NL by alkaline hyd olysis, con e ed o
hei me hyl es e s using diazome hane, and analyzed by gas ch oma og aphy on an Agilen 8860GC
( able).

Conclusions. The esul s ob ained show ha he ae ial pa o A. juncea g owing in Uzbekis an
con ains 1,60% NL. The a y acid composi ion consis s o 16 componen s, wi h unsa u a ed a y
acids p edomina ing (64,09%). The ull se o high-molecula -weigh a y acids 20:0, 22:0, and 24:0
was iden i ied.
