based on he s anda ds o he S a e Pha macopoeia o he Republic o Uzbekis an and he Eu opean
Pha macopoeia. The ex e nal mo phological and ana omical cha ac e is ics o he plan we e s udied.
Pha macopoeial me hods we e used o de e mine he main quali y c i e ia om physicochemical
indica o s, such as esidual mois u e, o al ash con en , ash insoluble in 10% hyd ochlo ic acid, and
hea y me al impu i ies. The esul s we e s a is ically p ocessed, diagnos ic signs we e iden i ied, and
ecommenda ions o s anda diza ion o medicinal aw ma e ials we e de eloped.
Resul s: The ex e nal mo phological cha ac e is ics o Spanish la ende ( La andula
s oechas L. ) specimens g own in local ag oclima ic condi ions we e clea ly desc ibed: he s em o
he plan is ou -sided, he lea es a e opposi e, hinly lanceola e, he su ace is co e ed wi h so hai s;
he lowe s a e pu ple, ha e a cha ac e is ic odo , and a e ich in essen ial oil. Acco ding o he
physicochemical pa ame e s, he esidual mois u e, o al ash con en , and ash insoluble in 10%

Pha macopoeia o Uzbekis an. Based on he da a ob ained, he main diagnos ic signs (mo phological,
