plan s. Walnu (Juglans egia L.), which g ows in he unique na u al condi ions o he A slanbob
o es a ea o Ky gyzs an, is a p omising sou ce o medicinal plan aw ma e ials. Walnu lea es a e
widely used in olk medicine due o hei an isep ic, an i-in lamma o y and es o a i e p ope ies. The
ele ance o s udying walnu as a medicinal plan aw ma e ial is due o i s wide applica ion in olk
medicine and i s high po en ial o use in o icial pha maco he apy. The unique na u al g owing
condi ions, ich chemical composi ion and p onounced medicinal p ope ies make walnu lea es a
p omising objec o scien i ic esea ch. Howe e , he e is no pha macopoeia a icle o his aw

The pu pose o he s udy is o analyze he main nume ical pa ame e s o walnu lea es (Juglans
egia L.), which g ows in he nu and ui o es s o Ky gyzs an.
Ma e ials and me hods. Objec s o esea ch: walnu lea es (Juglans egia L.), collec ed in
Sep embe 2024 in he walnu and ui o es s o A slanbob (Jalal-Abad egion, Ky gyzs an).
Humidi y was de e mined by di ec he mog a ime ic analysis using an EVLAS-2M ins umen . A
sample o p e-c ushed and mixed sample weighing 2.0 g was placed in he measu ing cell o he
de ice. D ying was ca ied ou a a empe a u e o 105 ± 2 °C un il he mass s abilizes. The de ice
au oma ically eco ded he ini ial and inal mass, calcula ed he mass ac ion o mois u e and
displayed he esul on he sc een as a pe cen age.
The de e mina ion o ash con en ( o al and insoluble in 10% HCl) and he swelling index was
ca ied ou in acco dance wi h he me hodology ecommended in he Gene al Pha macopoeia A icles
(OFS) o he S a e Pha macopoeia o he Russian Fede a ion o he XIV edi ion.
Resul s. The mois u e con en o he lea es is 13.58%, which is wi hin he no mal ange o
high-quali y plan aw ma e ials. The o al ash con en is 0.47%, and he ash con en , insoluble in 10%
hyd ochlo ic acid solu ion, is 0.21%, indica ing a low con en o mine al and ino ganic impu i ies.
The swelling index is 15 ml/g, which indica es a good wa e e en ion capaci y o he aw ma e ial.
Conclusions. The ob ained da a con i m he high quali y o he s udied plan aw ma e ials and
hei sui abili y o u he pha macognos ic s anda diza ion. Thei consis en ly low le els o mois u e
and ash con en will ensu e long- e m s o age and s abili y o pha macological p ope ies. The
es ablished nume ical indica o s can se e as a basis o he de elopmen o egula o y documen a ion
in he p oduc ion o he bal p epa a ions.
