BBioNe s p ojec li espan in an accessible and appealing way, wi h he aim o encou age and acili a e
he up ake o BBTs among ag icul u e and o es y s akeholde s.

The BBioNe s Pla o m was designed o p o ide access o he ma e ial collec ed du ing he p ojec
implemen a ion, h ough a use - iendly, in ui i e in e ace. The Pla o m will unc ion as a ee online
eposi o y and g adually in eg a e all ele an ou comes gene a ed wi hin Wo k Packages 2 and 3,
which include: he BBioNe s in en o y (T2.1), BBTs assessmen ool (T2.2), high-le el analysis o he
dynamics o Rep esen ed Regions (T2.3) as well as educa ional ma e ial c ea ed wi hin T3.1.

G oups. The collec ed in o ma ion (i.e. he “in en o y o BBTs”) is p esen ed in a clea and concise
manne , speci ically ailo ed o he needs o a me s and o es e s. I will allow i s Use s o b owse
h ough o il e he in o ma ion based on speci ic ca ego ies.
The BBioNe s in en o y is a esul o Task 2.1 BBioNe s in en o y and knowledge collec ion (Task
Leade : CEA). Wi hin his Task, an in en o y o Bio-Based Technologies (BBTs) de eloped by
Ope a ional G oups will be c ea ed ollowing a me hodology de eloped by he Task Leade . The
BBioNe s knowledge pla o m will p esen he collec ed in o ma ion on BBTs in a clea and concise

manne , speci ically ailo ed o he needs o a me s and o es e s. I will allow i s Use s o b owse
h ough o il e he in o ma ion based on speci ic ca ego ies.
The in o ma ion can be il e ed by: a) coun y o he Ope a ional G oup (‘coun y’), b) ele an sec o
o BBT applica ion (‘sec o ’), c) eeds ock he speci ic BBT is dedica ed o (‘ eeds ock’), and d) a ea o
he BBT’s impac (‘ ocus a ea’). Addi ionally, he il e ing engine allows sea ching by speci ic keywo ds.

The online ool o cos -e ec i eness analysis o BBTs is being de eloped in Task 2.2 BBTs assessmen
ool (Task Leade : MTU). The ool will o e quan i a i e (in es men cos s, ope a ion cos s, p ocessing
capaci y e c.) and quali a i e (added alue, p ocess complexi y, e c.) e alua ion o BBTs. I s objec i e
is o acili a e he p ocess o ma ching he a ailable echnologies o he needs and esou ces o
ag icul u al and o es y s akeholde s. The analysis will be i s conduc ed o he p ojec a ge ed
egions. La e , he ool will be made a ailable o all s akeholde s o indi idual use, o e ing analyses
ailo ed o hei speci ic needs based on hei own inpu a iables.
Rema k: The “BBTs assessmen ool” sec ion is cu en ly unde de elopmen and is expec ed o be
inco po a ed in o he BBioNe s pla o m a a la e s age, a e alida ion pe o med by he BBioNe s

6 Conclusions
BBioNe s online knowledge pla o m is an open access dynamic solu ion o add ess speci ic ope a ional
needs o he BBioNe s communi y. I s unde lying a chi ec u e, secu i y ea u es, and ex ensible design
p o ide a eliable pla o m o managing con en and deli e ing a high-quali y use expe ience. The
ongoing in eg a ion o new echnologies and he adap abili y o he pla o m ensu e ha i will
con inue o mee he e ol ing equi emen s o BBioNe s communi y.
A key ea u e o he pla o m is i s abili y o p o ide long- e m access o BBioNe s’ ou pu s. I will hos
essen ial ools like he BBioNe s in en o y (T2.1) and he BBTs assessmen ool (T2.2), as well as all
ou comes om WP2 and educa ional ma e ials p oduced unde T3.1. This eposi o y will be accessible
ia he p ojec ’s websi e and will be main ained o i e yea s a e he comple ion o he p ojec .
Addi ionally, he pla o m will in eg a e wi h he EU-wide in e ac i e knowledge ese oi , EU-
Fa mBook, ensu ing b oade access o p ojec esul s. By cen alizing esou ces and ensu ing easy
access o ac ionable knowledge, he BBioNe s online knowledge pla o m (T3.2) will se e as a key ool
o os e ing inno a ion and knowledge-sha ing ac oss Eu ope.
BBioNe s aims o maximize he impac o i s p ac ical esul s p esen ed on he pla o m by a ge ing
Ag icul u al Knowledge and Inno a ion Sys em (AKIS) s akeholde s. The knowledge p oduced will be
widely dissemina ed h ough AKIS channels, ensu ing ha a me s, o es e s, and o he p ima y
p oduce s bene i om BBioNe s’ esou ces. This will be achie ed by o ganizing capaci y-building
ac i i ies o egional in e media ies, which will encou age he op imal use o BBioNe s pla o m ools
and acili a e exploi a ion o esul s. C oss- egional collabo a ion will be p omo ed using he pla o m,
enabling he exchange o knowledge and concep s ac oss a ious Eu opean T ansna ional Regions.
