on local aw ma e ials.
Me hods and echniques: A d y plas e composi e con aining 30% calcium s ea a e, 43% soap,
4% u pen ine, 10% alc, 5% kaolin and 8% i on (III) oxide is ob ained:
Fi s , calcium s ea a e is added o he eac o and g adually hea ed. In his p ocess, i is
impo an o ensu e ha he empe a u e does no exceed 170°C. When he calcium s ea a e is
comple ely dissol ed, soap powde is added o i and i is also comple ely dissol ed. Then he
emaining addi i es a e added o he mass li le by li le, one by one, s i ing igo ously. In his case,
he added addi ional componen s a e comple ely mixed wi h he liquid, o ming a homogeneous
sys em o 55-60 minu es. The p oduc is cooled and begins o solidi y in he o m o a monoli h. The
esul ing monoli hic p oduc is g ound in a mo a and b ough o a powde s a e. The mos impo an
indica o o a d y solde composi e is i s adhesion o he su ace o he s eel wi e om which he
welding elec ode is made. To es his, a s eel wi e o a welding elec ode wi h a cleaned su ace is
dipped in o he powde p oduc , i.e. he slush composi e. I is hen obse ed ha he powde p oduc
adhe es o he su ace o he s eel wi e o he welding elec ode, o ming a hin laye .
Resul s: The d y slu y composi e ob ained by he abo e me hod does no boil a high
lique ac ion empe a u es, does no decompose, and does no solidi y sepa a ely du ing s e ching.
The ob ained echnical esul s show ha he p epa ed slu y oil is no hyg oscopic and is a neu al
subs ance, which inc eases he co osion esis ance o he s e ched s eel wi e and s ops he co osion
p ocess on he su ace o he s eel wi e. I he amoun o kaolin added o he d y slu y composi e is
less han 4%, i s co osion p ope ies dec ease, and i he amoun o kaolin is inc eased by mo e han
6%, i s co osion p ope ies inc ease, and he e o e his p ocess is no ad isable. I 4-6%
alcomagnesi e is added o he d y slu y composi e, he so ening empe a u e o he d y slu y
composi e inc eases by 10-15°C, and i s an i ic ion p ope ies imp o e.
Conclusion: When he amoun o alcomagnesi e in he d y-cas composi e is less han 4%, he
hyd odynamic mode du ing wi e s e ching is no ensu ed, he amoun o insoluble componen s in
