В данной статье рассматривается, как культурный бэкграунд влияет на
процесс овладения английским и узбекским как иностранными языками.
Подчеркивается роль социальных норм, коммуникативных стилей,
образовательных традиций и общих культурных сценариев в формировании
процесса изучения как для узбекских изучающих английский язык, так и для
англоязычных изучающих узбекский язык.

a’si ini ahlil qiladi. O‘zbek a ingliz ilini o‘ ganayo gan o‘qu chila da madaniy
qad iya la , kommunika i uslubla a a’lim an’anala i qanday ol o‘ynashi
yo i iladi.

English o en emphasizes cla i y and di ec ness. This di e ence can lead o
misunde s andings in bo h spoken and w i en communica ion, as lea ne s s uggle o

ano he challenge. In some Uzbek educa ional se ings, s uden s may be accus omed

embedded social expec a ions. Uzbek employs a ange o hono i ics, e b o ms, and
p onouns ha e lec age, social s a us, and espec , equi ing lea ne s o cons an ly
adjus hei language depending on he ela ionship be ween in e locu o s. This can be
pa icula ly di icul o English speake s, whose language gene ally elies less on
hie a chical dis inc ions in e e yday speech.
High-con ex communica ion adds ano he laye o complexi y. In Uzbek cul u e,
much o he meaning in con e sa ion is con eyed indi ec ly, elying on sha ed
backg ound knowledge, one, and non e bal cues. English speake s, accus omed o

based ools o ully de elop lea ne s’ communica i e compe ence. Inco po a ing
cul u al knowledge helps lea ne s unde s and he social no ms, alues, and p agma ic
con en ions ha go e n eal-wo ld in e ac ions, enabling hem o communica e
app op ia ely and con iden ly. Using au hen ic ma e ials such as social media pos s,
news a icles, ideos, and podcas s exposes lea ne s o language as i is na u ally used,
b idging he gap be ween class oom ins uc ion and eal-li e communica ion. Role-
plays and simula ions p o ide a sa e en i onmen o p ac icing speech ac s, poli eness
s a egies, and in e cul u al exchanges, allowing lea ne s o expe imen wi h language
and ecei e eedback on cul u al app op ia eness.

Addi ionally, AI-based in e cul u al ools including adap i e language apps,
cha bo s, and i ual u o s o e pe sonalized oppo uni ies o p ac ice, ins an
eedback, and exposu e o global linguis ic ends. Fo example, AI can simula e
con e sa ions wi h na i e speake s, sugges con ex ually app op ia e exp essions, and
e en highligh cul u al nuances in eal ime. By combining hese app oaches, eache s
can os e lea ne s’ abili y no only o p oduce g amma ically co ec sen ences bu
also o na iga e social and cul u al con ex s e ec i ely, p epa ing hem o au hen ic,
meaning ul communica ion in bo h Uzbek and English.
