METHODOLOGY
This s udy employed a sys ema ic li e a u e e iew using he P e e ed Repo ing I ems o Sys ema ic
e iews and Me a-Analyses (PRISMA) sys ema ic mapping echnique o analyze he exis ing li e a u e on
o ganiza ional socializa ion, ollowing he guidelines o Ki chenham
e al.
(2009). The app oach p o ides
an o e iew o he esea ch landscape by e alua ing he quali y and quan i y o e idence.
A well-de ined sea ch s a egy was used o iden i y ele an a icles om wo majo da abases—Web
o Science and PsycINFO—chosen o hei comp ehensi e co e age o pee - e iewed jou nals in
managemen , psychology, and o ganiza ional beha io . Sea ch s ings combined keywo ds like
“o ganiza ional socializa ion,” “onboa ding,” and “newcome adjus men ,” which we e e ined o
ele ance (see Table 1). The sea ch ocused on publica ions om 2000 o 2024 o include bo h his o ical
and con empo a y s udies. The inclusion and exclusion c i e ia o sc eening a icles a e ou lined in Table
2. Empi ical s udies published in English, wi h di ec implica ions o o ganiza ional socializa ion, and
suppo ed by a clea heo e ical amewo k we e included. S udies such as li e a u e e iews, concep ual
pape s, and hose wi hou empi ical da a o heo e ical g ounding we e excluded.

esea ch gaps in o ganiza ional socializa ion. The PRISMA low diag am (Figu e 1) illus a es he selec ion
p ocess. Adhe ing o PRISMA guidelines (PRISMA checklis , Appendix-I), he e iew employed well-
es ablished da abases o ensu e a igo ous and anspa en p ocess, wi h he mapping echnique

RESULTS
