2. The scien i ic ca ee o P o esso Joanicjusz Naza ko
P o esso Joanicjusz Naza ko ob ained his i s deg ees a he Facul y o Elec ical Enginee ing
a he Wa saw Uni e si y o Technology. In 1978, he ea ned a mas e ’s deg ee in enginee ing
wi h a specializa ion in elec ical powe enginee ing. In 1983, he comple ed his doc o a e
in echnical sciences in he ield o elec ical enginee ing, and in 1992, he was awa ded a
pos doc o al deg ee in enginee ing sciences wi h a ocus on au oma ion, elec onics, and
elec ical enginee ing. In 1998, by he o de o he P esiden o he Republic o Poland, he
was g an ed he i le o p o esso o echnical sciences, and in 2015, he was hono ed wi h
he i le o p o esso o economic sciences.
Th oughou his ca ee , P o esso Naza ko has been closely associa ed wi h Bialys ok Uni-
e si y o Technology. He held he posi ion o he uni e si y’s ec o om 2005 o 2008
and se ed as he dean o he Facul y o Managemen du ing he e ms o 2002–2005 and
2008–2016. P esen ly, he holds he posi ion o a p o esso a he Facul y o Enginee ing Man-

mission. His commi men o ad ancing his knowledge led o him being awa ded a ious sci-
en i ic schola ships ha acili a ed his s udies and pa icipa ion in specialized cou ses ab oad,
including schola ships unde TEMPUS, IREX, o E asmus p og ams. Fu he mo e, P o esso

in he con e men o his doc o al deg ee by he Council o he Elec ical Facul y o he
Wa saw Uni e si y o Technology in 1983. Subsequen ly, P o esso Naza ko di ec ed his e -
o s owa ds he s a ic and dynamic es ima ion o ope a ing s a es in elec ic powe g ids,
making signi ican con ibu ions o he de elopmen o he heo e ical ounda ions in his
ield (Cha y oniuk & Naza ko, 1992; Naza ko & Zalewski, 1996; Naza ko, 1993).

in p edic ing sales (Ch abołowska & Naza ko, 2004), elec ical load (Naza ko e al., 2005;
Chodakowska e al., 2021), and sola adia ion (Chodakowska e al., 2023).
