and in Eu ope — o i ough o be a cen al issue whene e he ou -
come o an icombines p oceedings depends on he ma ke sha es
o he i ms conce ned o on he concen a ion o supply o demand.
Economis s adi ionally app oach he de e mina ion o he ele an
ma ke in e ms o he "closeness" o subs i u es. Concep ually, one
has o choose a measu e o closeness, has o decide wha deg ee o
closeness is equi ed o subs i u es o be included in he same ma ke ,
