co ela ional esea ch design was employed o s udy he popula ion o MBA (Accoun ing)
s uden s in a uni e si y in ghana, ou o which a andom sample o 447 was selec ed
o pa icipa e in he su ey. A ques ionnai e and igne e we e used o ga he da a
analysed using pa ial leas squa ed- s uc u al equa ion Modelling (pls-seM) s a is ics.
he s udy es ablished ha eligiosi y posi i ely in luences he in e nalisa ion o e hical
alues h ough e hics educa ion bu has no signi ican e ec on accoun ing s uden s’

c ucial ole, ac ing as a media ing mechanism, in he ela ionship be ween eligiosi y
and inco up ibili y o accoun ing s uden s. i is ecommended o in eg a e eligious

accoun abili y, and an an ico up ion cul u e among accoun ing p o essionals. By
ecognising he signi icance o e hical educa ional in e en ion, his s udy expands

2021). Acco ding o gokcekus and ekici (2020), eligiosi y, a he han eligious a ilia ion, has a di ec
impac on he le el o co up ion. Besides, i is belie ed ha an ico up ion aining becomes signi i-

Me hodology
Resea ch design and sampling p ocedu e and sample size
he co ela ional esea ch design was employed o execu e he s udy. he design was deemed app op i-
a e because o he ques o es ablish ela ionships among he a iables explo ed. he popula ion o he
s udy comp ised Mas e o Business Adminis a ion (Accoun ing) s uden s om a ious uni e si ies in
ghana. Almos all he s uden s a e gain ully employed and wo king and ha e signed up o dis ance
MBA p og ammes o enhance hei knowledge, imp o e hei e ec i eness and p oduc i i y o secu e
hei jobs. A andom sample o 447 MBA (Accoun ing) s uden s was selec ed h ough simple andom
sampling o pa ake in he s udy. F om he esponden s’ age dis ibu ion, 73 esponden s (16.3%) we e
be ween he ages o 22 and 29. he majo i y o esponden s (52.1%), who numbe ed 233, we e in hei
hi ies. Abou 28% (125) o he esponden s engaged in he esea ch we e in hei o ies. in addi ion,
jus 16 (3.6%) esponden s we e 50 o 59 yea s old. he esponden s comp ised 266 males (50.6%) and
