esea che s and p ac i ione s as models canno be easily exchanged.
The Uni e sal Va iabili y Language (UVL) a ose om joined

communi y. Wi h UVL, he communi y aims o p o ide a a iabili y

hen widely adop ed by academia and indus y. We p esen ed a

laye s o a iabili y modeling, such as speci ica ion o models o
analysis. In his u o ial, we guide pa icipan s h ough he basics
o UVL and showcase ools suppo ing he usage o UVL. The

ending wi h an open discussion on u u e di ec ions o UVL.
Session 1: Modeling wi h UVL. In he i s session, we in oduce
he UVL syn ax and p esen he publicly a ailable pa se lib a y.
Then, we showcase how o in eg a e UVL in o o he ools by using
i in Fea u eIDE [

] o iew and edi UVL models. Bo h s eps
consis o an in oduc ion in o he opic and a hands-on pa .
Session 2: T ans o ming UVL Models. In he second session, we
p esen he ans o ma ion app oach TRAVART[

], which uses
UVL as a pi o language. We p o ide pa icipan s mul iple models
o di e en ype and le hem ans o m he models be ween each
o he . Finally, we discuss he di e ences o he app oaches and he
issue o in o ma ion loss.
Session 3: Analyzing UVL Models. In he hi d session, we will
co e how UVL can be in eg a ed as a language o analyze a iabil-
i y using he Py hon-based amewo k FLAMA. We will p esen
how he amewo k has been designed ha ing UVL in mind and
how easy i is o in eg a e i wi h analysis suppo such as SAT,
BDD, SMT, o o he complemen a y ools ha enable, o ins ance,
ans o ma ions o o he a iabili y ep esen a ions.
