2.2. Case S udy: Mé ola
The municipali y o M

ola is loca ed in he SW o he Ibe ian Peninsula, in he Beja dis ic
(Baixo Alen ejo p o ince) o Po ugal (Figu e 1). I is he six h la ges municipali y in Po ugal,
a 1293 km2, and is di ided in o 7 smalle a eas o “ eguesías”, conside ed as pa ishes (Figu e 1).
