esea ch hen ocuses on he cinema og aphic space and isual cinema og aphic discou se. The case

The impac o isual media on he public is undeniable. Film and ele ision p oduc ions place he
spo ligh on s o ies, a is s, places, li es yles, cus oms, and p ac ices, bo h eal and ac i e. In doing so,
hey a e able o seduce millions o spec a o s. This seduc ion can hen engende he acquisi ion and
he consump ion o goods associa ed wi h a much-lo ed p oduc ion: hink abou he phenomenon
o he p oduc s associa ed wi h blockbus ing se ies, such as he oys and clo hing o S a Wa s and
The Lo d o he Rings. Film and ele ision p oduc ions a e also ools o p omo ing na u al and cul u al

The p esen s udy is inspi ed by he new app oach demanding e lec ion on he ela ionship
be ween pilg image and eligious ou ism in sus ainable e ms. This ela ionship can be exp essed
in a ious ways; his s udy u ns i s a en ion o one o he mos commonly used isual media ( he
cinema) as a ool o communica ion and sensi i i y owa d hese beha io al p ecep s. The ilmic
language has always been able o na a e he pe manence o ime and his o y. These a ibu es eme ge
in a pilg image ou e ha wan s o p o ide a sus ainable model, e en a e mo e han 12 cen u ies o
