oceanog aphic da a o high echnical quali y.
The cons uc ion is p omo ed by he Cen o de In es igación
Ma iña de la Uni e sidade de Vigo (CIM) and commissioned o
Rodman Polyships. The essel’s 3-day au onomy will acili a e
oceanic obse a ion, he s udy and moni o ing o he e ec s o
clima e change on he ma ine-coas al ecosys em, ma ine eco ox-
icology, sus ainable exploi a ion o ma ine esou ces (li ing and
non-li ing) and in eg a ed managemen o he coas al zone. I
aims o s eng hen he cen e ’s capabili ies o add ess wi h g ea -
e assu ance and compe ence some o he mos c i ical socie-
al challenges ela ed o clima e and en i onmen al change, o
which he gene a ion o ocean da a is a c ucial elemen o p o ide
