Sozialer Stand und Identifizierung von Frauen im Preußen des 14.–16. Jhs. aufgrund der Dokumente des Deutschen Ordens

Abstract

  Die Frauennennung und -identifizierung in den historischen Quellen insbesondere in den mittelalterlichen Kanzleidokumenten des Deutschen Ordens und der fruhen Neuzeit macht ein Phanomen aus, das aus dem in Standpunkt vieler wissenschaftlicher Disziplinen forschungsbedurftig ist. Das Thema ist nicht nur der Forschungsgenstand der Namenkunde, betrifft aber auch die allgemeine Sprachwissenschaft, Geschichte, Soziologie, Anthropologie u.a. Im vorliegenden Aufsatz wird es versucht, den Schwerpunkt im zweierlei Hinblick zu betrachten. Einerseits ist es interessant, ob die Frauen in den historischen Dokumenten durch ihre eventuell aufgezeichneten Namen identifizierbar sind, andererseits entsteht die Frage, wie ihr sozialer Stand und die Frauennennung bzw. -identifizierung korrelieren.
