In ac , he concep s o adicaliza ion and ex emism a e exposed o ans o ma ions in poli ical,

Ou analysis has alida ed Oze and Be elsen (2018) wo scales (ES and PIARES) o adolescen s

This esea ch he e o e suppo s he need o measu e ex emis a i udes and p o- iolence and

In he case o ES, he isk ac o s o iolen ex emism ocus on adolescen s wi h a o eign

hose who mo e equen ly a end eligious se ices, hose who a e mo e on he igh o he

Poli ical ideology is signi ican in ou eg ession model, wi h mo e iolen a i udes being
obse ed in igh -wing posi ions. This could be explained by con ex ual causes cha ac e is ic o

as shown by au ho s such as Muñoz Alonso (1982, 1985, 1986, 1988) o (Lle a e al., 2017, 2022).
Some a iables a e no signi ican in he wo models. Family economic s a us is signi ican in he
case o p o- iolence a i udes and illegal ac s, which co obo a es s udies indica ing ha p o-

amily is no ele an in he eg ession model on ex emism, so we can say ha ex emis a i udes

The inc eased use o social media has no implica ions o ex emis a i udes. Howe e , i is
signi ican o he de elopmen o p o- iolence a i udes and illegal ac s. These esul s possibly
indica e ha social ne wo k abuse leads adolescen s o de elop in ole an a i udes, which could

Conce ning poly- ic imiza ion, i is s a is ically signi ican o explain PIARES bu no ES. Thus, he
