Ma e ials and me hods: G anulome ic ( ac ional) composi ion. The de e mina ion was
ca ied ou by si ing 100.0 g o he subs ance h ough a sie e se consis ing o 5 sie es wi h a mesh
diame e o 2 mm, 1 mm, 0.5; 0.35 mm and 0.25 mm. The se was he me ically sealed wi h a casing.
The sample was si ed on a ib a ing ins alla ion wi h a numbe o oscilla ions o 340-360/min o 5
min. The ope a ion was epea ed 3 imes and he a e age alues o he mass o he subs ance ha
passed h ough a sie e o a ce ain diame e we e calcula ed. Pa icle shape and size. The shape and
size o he pa icles we e de e mined on an op ical mic oscope, wi h a magni ica ion ange om 4 o

able s and is exp essed as absolu e alues (MPa) o as a comp essibili y coe icien , which is he
a io o he able mass o i s heigh . To de e mine he comp essibili y coe icien , a sample o 0.4
and 0.6 g o ma e ial was p essed in a 10 o 12 mm die, espec i ely, using a hyd aulic p ess. The
esul ing able s we e weighed on an analy ical balance o de e mine he able mass; he able heigh
was de e mined using a mic ome e .
Conclusions: Thus, based on a s udy o he subs ance's echnological cha ac e is ics, he need
o in oduce excipien s in o he able mass was iden i ied. To ob ain he able ed d ug, i is ad isable
o use a p elimina y we g anula ion me hod, which will p oduce high-quali y able s. I he
ecommenda ions and p oduc ion ules a e ollowed, he esul ing able s should mee quali y
indica o s and egula o y equi emen s.
