Resea ch me hods.
Me hods o aw ma e ial p epa a ion: Collec ion o wo mwood he b and d ying in he shade a
a empe a u e o 40–45 °C. G inding and ac iona ion (pa icle size 3–8 mm).

alcohol. Fil a ion: Vacuum il e . Concen a ion: Ro a y e apo a o unde acuum (≤50 °C). D ying:

Me hods o ob aining essen ial oil: Hyd odis illa ion (Cle enge appa a us) o s eam
dis illa ion. Essen ial oil is isola ed and d ied wi h sodium sul a e.
Physicochemical analysis me hods: O ganolep ic analysis (colo , odo , as e, consis ency).
De e mina ion o mois u e, ash con en , and yield. De e mina ion o d y ex ac solubili y.
Chemical analysis me hods: HPLC – de e mina ion o la onoids and lac ones. GC-MS ( GC -
MS ) – de e mina ion o essen ial oil con en .
Me hods o assessing biological ac i i y: De e mina ion o an ioxidan ac i i y (DPPH
me hod). S udy o an imic obial ac i i y (using an imic obial es s ains, aga di usion me hod).
