The aim o he s udy: To de elop an op imized o mula ion and p oduc ion echnology o he
hepa op o ec i e he bal ea “HEPASILIMARIN” based on local medicinal plan aw ma e ials, and
o de e mine i s quali y indica o s and hepa op o ec i e po en ial.
Ma e ials and me hods: Moni o ing o local and cul i a ed medicinal plan species was
conduc ed (samples collec ed in 2022, Bos anliq dis ic , Tashken egion). Resou ce-indexing and
expe anking me hods (acco ding o A.Ya. Kobza and O.M. G i senko) we e used o classi y and
p io i ize he plan s by pha macological g oups. P opensi y indices we e calcula ed o each
pha maco he apeu ic g oup (an ioxidan , an i-in lamma o y, hepa os imulan , e c.). Fi e
expe imen al mix u es (№1–№5) we e p epa ed, and hei hepa op o ec i e e ec was assessed in
labo a o y animals by measu ing biochemical ma ke s ALT and AST (µmol/s•L).
The he bal ea echnology included: p ima y cleaning o aw ma e ials, d ying (30–90 °C depending
on species), g inding (mill, maize pa icle size — 3–7 mm), sie ing (7 mm and 0.2 mm mesh), mixing
(mechanical mixe ), and packaging in o il e sache s (3.0 g).
Resul s: Acco ding o esou ce-indexing, he calcula ed p opensi y indices (g) by
pha maco he apeu ic g oups we e: an ioxidan — 0.8; an i-in lamma o y — 0.8; hepa os imulan —
0.4; auxilia y g oups (cell egene a ion, ib osis inhibi o s, memb ane s abilize s, i amin ca ie s,
seda i es)—0.2 g each; o al 3.0 g.Biochemical analysis o he expe imen al mix u es (№1–№5)
demons a ed ha o mula ion №4 showed he mos p onounced hepa op o ec i e e ec : ALT = 2.6
± 0.3; AST = 1.2 ± 0.1 (µmol/s•L). The e o e, o mula ion №4 was selec ed as he basis o
“HEPASILIMARIN.”
The op imized nominal composi ion o “HEPASILIMARIN” (pe sache = 3.0 g) was: Silybum
ma ianum seeds — 1.2 g; Men ha pipe i a lea es — 0.6 g; Zea mays s igmas — 1.2 g. Packaging
in o 3.0 g il e sache s was ecommended. Quali y con ol o he echnological p ocess and inished
p oduc con i med compliance wi h he S a e Pha macopoeia (SP I, SP XI) s anda ds: mois u e — 10
± 1.2% (no m <13%), o al ash — 9.25 ± 0.6% (no m <10.5%), acid-insoluble ash — 3.15 ± 0.4%

Conclusions. A scien i ically subs an ia ed op imized o mula ion and p oduc ion echnology
o he hepa op o ec i e he bal ea “HEPASILIMARIN” has been de eloped using local medicinal
plan esou ces. Resou ce-indexing and expe anking me hods allowed he selec ion and
op imiza ion o plan combina ions; o mula ion №4 demons a ed he s onges no malizing e ec
on ALT and AST alues. The main quali y indica o s o he inished p oduc complied wi h he
equi emen s o he S a e Pha macopoeia; he ea was s anda dized o packaging in o 3.0 g il e
sache s.
