Aim o he s udy. To conduc a c i ical e iew o he scien i ic li e a u e on he use o
mic onized kaolini e in combina ion wi h essen ial oils, o e alua e pha macological, echnological,
and oxicological aspec s, and o de elop ecommenda ions o c ea ing a wound-healing d ug on
hei basis.

Resul s. Analysis o he li e a u e showed ha kaolini e p o ides a apid hemos a ic e ec and
can se e as a ma ix o c ea ing po ous d essings wi h p o en clinical e icacy. Essen ial oils
con aining hymol, ca ac ol, and o he phenolic compounds demons a e an ibac e ial, an i ungal,
and egene a i e p ope ies, while hei inco po a ion in o polyme ma ices enhances an imic obial
e ec s and accele a es epi helializa ion. The easibili y o “clay + essen ial oil” composi ions has
been demons a ed, ensu ing con olled elease and imp o ed s abili y o bioac i e componen s. A
limi a ion is he p esence o po en ially oxic compounds in EOs, necessi a ing dosage op imiza ion,
selec ion o sa e essen ial oils, and manda o y p eclinical oxicological e alua ion.
Conclusion. The combina ion o mic onized kaolini e and essen ial oils o Kazakhs an plan s
ep esen s a p omising pla o m o he de elopmen o a local wound-healing d ug.
Recommenda ions o u he esea ch include: selec ion o p ospec i e essen ial oil-bea ing plan s
wi h p o en pha macological ac i i y; ex ac ion and s udy o essen ial oils; choice o dosage o m
(gels/sponges/d essings) wi h e alua ion o adso p ion and elease kine ics; o mula ion
de elopmen ; s epwise biological assessmen in i o (MIC, cy o oxici y, collagenogenesis), ollowed
by con olled in i o wound-healing models and sys emic oxicology; compliance wi h egula o y
equi emen s o p eclinical sa e y. I hese condi ions a e me , he p ojec has high ansla ional
po en ial, pa icula ly when u ilizing locally a ailable plan aw ma e ials. This s udy was ca ied ou
