in o he coun y o 2017-2023. The o mula ion indica o s o local sys emic an i i al d ugs in he
Republic o Uzbekis an we e analyzed. Analyzing he esul s eco ded in 2023 based on he esul s
o his s udy, i is e ealed ha 45% (3 million) o he s udied ma ke segmen in he Republic o
Uzbekis an a e non-p esc ip ion d ugs and 55% (3.6 million) a e p esc ip ion d ugs. The da a
p esen ed is o g ea impo ance in p o iding he popula ion and indus y expe s wi h an
unde s anding o he o mula ion indica o s o sys emic an i i al d ugs, as well as in conduc ing
go e nmen p ocu emen .
Pu pose o he s udy: o conduc a con en analysis o he packaging o sys emic an i i al
d ugs impo ed in o he pha maceu ical ma ke o he Republic o Uzbekis an acco ding o hei
o mula ion pa ame e s and, based on his, o plan he nex s age o ma ke ing o pha macoeconomic
esea ch.
Ma e ials and me hods: he esea ch me hod was ca ied ou using he p e iously widely used
con en analysis me hod.
Resul s: he indica o s o p esc ip ion and non-p esc ip ion ca ego ies o sys emic an i i al
d ugs impo ed in o he Republic o Uzbekis an we e s udied. The esul s o he s udy can be seen in
he diag am below.
This cha shows ha in he i s h ee yea s, he impo o non-p esc ip ion d ugs (2017 - 1.95
million; 2018 - 2.2 million; 2019 - 2.18 million) was highe han ha o p esc ip ion d ugs (2017 -
1.71 million; 2018 - 1.2 million; 2019 - 1.4 million). Howe e , by 2020, he numbe o sys emic
an i i al d ugs in he pha maceu ical ma ke o ou coun y has inc eased signi ican ly, and non-
p esc ip ion d ugs (3.5 million) ha e signi ican ly eplaced p esc ip ion d ugs (5.1 million). The s udy
ound ha his unusual g ow h in 2020 was due o he unusually high sha e o o e - he-coun e

in he local pha maceu ical ma ke in 2020, and by 2023 hey we e no eco ded in he ma ke
indica o s a all. Du ing he s udy pe iod 2021-2023, he numbe o impo ed p esc ip ion d ugs (2021
- 3.8 million; 2022 - 4.1 million; 2023 - 3.6 million) con inued o exceed he numbe o impo ed non-
p esc ip ion d ugs (2021 - 2.7 million; 2022 - 2.7 million; 2023 - 3 million).
Conclusions: acco ding o he esul s o he s udy, by 2020, he numbe o impo ed i ems o
sys emic an i i al d ugs will inc ease sha ply, and he impo o p esc ip ion d ugs will exceed he
impo o o e - he-coun e d ugs by 2.4 million packages, which can be explained by he pandemic
(Co id-19) ha began in ou coun y in 2020. Compa ing he i s yea o ou s udy, 2017, wi h 2023,
i can be seen ha o e - he-coun e d ugs inc eased om 1.95 million o 3 million, and p esc ip ion
d ugs inc eased om 1.71 million o 3.6 million.
