empe a u e, and supp essing in lamma ion. Globally, NSAIDs a e among he mos commonly used
medica ions, wi h millions o pa ien s elying on hem, making his g oup o d ugs one o he mos
in-demand in he global pha maceu ical ma ke . Despi e he high demand o NSAIDs in he
pha maceu ical ma ke o Uzbekis an, a signi ican p opo ion o hese d ugs a e impo ed om
o eign manu ac u e s. This leads o inc eased dependency on impo s and es ic s he po en ial o
domes ic pha maceu ical p oduce s. In he con ex o ongoing e o ms aimed a de eloping he
pha maceu ical indus y in Uzbekis an, expanding he ange o domes ically p oduced medicines,
inc easing he sha e o local manu ac u e s, and p oducing high-quali y and a o dable d ugs ha
mee ma ke demands a e conside ed u gen p io i ies. F om his pe spec i e, he s udy o he NSAID
asso men , dosage o ms, and dis ibu ion by manu ac u e s holds bo h scien i ic and p ac ical
impo ance.

and dis ibu ion by manu ac u e s, iden i y exis ing challenges, and ou line p ospec i e di ec ions o
de elopmen .
Ma e ials and me hods: he esea ch was based on da a om he S a e Regis e o Medicines
o he Republic o Uzbekis an. The con en analysis me hod was applied o s udy he numbe o
NSAIDs egis e ed om 2020 o 2024, hei dis ibu ion by manu ac u ing coun ies, and he
p opo ion o a ious dosage o ms. In addi ion, he d ugs we e ca ego ized based on hei ac i e
pha maceu ical ing edien s (APIs). The esul s we e e alua ed h ough s a is ical analysis and
compa a i e assessmen .
Resul s: acco ding o he ob ained da a, in 2024, NSAIDs cons i u ed 1.34% (128 d ugs) o he
o al numbe o egis e ed medicines. Among he dosage o ms, suspensions accoun ed o 27%,
solu ions 20%, supposi o ies 15%, able s 9%, gels 7%, oin men s and capsules 5% each, c eams 3%,
sy ups and g anules 2% each, and eye d ops made up 5%. The analysis e ealed ha he majo i y o
so dosage o ms we e p oduced by o eign (63%) and CIS (21%) manu ac u e s, whe eas he sha e
o local manu ac u e s was only 16%. Be ween 2020 and 2024, he o al NSAID asso men dec eased
om 177 o 124. Du ing his pe iod, he sha e o domes ic manu ac u e s ell om 27% o 17%, and
he sha e o CIS coun ies declined om 23% o 11%. Fo eign manu ac u e s main ained hei leading
posi ion wi h a ma ke sha e o 49%. The mos equen ly used ac i e ing edien s we e diclo enac,
ibup o en, and indome hacin, indica ing a na ow dependency on a limi ed ange o APIs in he
ma ke .

he domes ic ma ke dependen on o eign p oduc s. In o de o ad ance he local pha maceu ical
indus y, i is essen ial o expand NSAID p oduc ion, in oduce new dosage o ms h ough inno a i e
echnologies, and u ilize medicinal plan -based aw ma e ials. Fu he mo e, s eng hening
collabo a ion wi h in e na ional pha maceu ical companies, adop ing mode n manu ac u ing
echnologies, and suppo ing scien i ic esea ch ac i i ies o local manu ac u e s will con ibu e
