and cosme ics ma ke in Kazakhs an, iden i y key ends and p ospec s o he de elopmen o local
p oduc ion and expo s.
Ma e ials and me hods: da a om he Medical and Pha maceu ical Con ol Commi ee o he
Republic o Kazakhs an o Janua y-Oc obe 2024, p oduc ion and impo s a is ics, as well as a
sample om he Uni ied Regis e o S a e Regis a ion Ce i ica es o he Eu asian Economic Union
(63,768 p oduc s as o 06.04.2025) we e used. Me hods o compa a i e analysis and classi ica ion o
p oduc s by unc ional g oups (c eams, gels, se ums, e c.) we e applied.
Resul s: he analysis showed ha he olume o cosmeceu ical p oduc ion in Kazakhs an o
he i s en mon hs o 2024 amoun ed o 5,679.4 onnes (+6.6% compa ed o 2023), while impo s
amoun ed o 57,395.2 onnes. The mos equen ly egis e ed p oduc ca ego ies we e: c eams
(14,092), gels (8,140), shampoos (2,838), condi ione s (2,819) and se ums (2,208). Amendmen s o
Eu asian Economic Union Technical Regula ion 009/2011, which came in o o ce in 2024, igh ened
sa e y equi emen s (Mean Opinion Sco e ac o ≥ 100) and labelling equi emen s. An imbalance
was iden i ied be ween he dis ibu ion ole o local companies and he lack o a de eloped p oduc ion
base.
Conclusions: he Kazakh cosme ics and pe sonal ca e p oduc s ma ke emains dependen on
impo s, bu has signi ican g ow h po en ial. To s eng hen i s posi ion in he Eu asian Economic
Union ma ke and en e in e na ional ma ke s, i is necessa y o:
