p oduc and i s ela ed p ocesses. This model makes i possible o comp ehensi ely accoun o he
di ec ions o p o essional ac i i y, highligh indus y-speci ic ea u es, ypical asks, and de ine he
undamen al a eas o knowledge and specialized modules equi ed o pe o m speci ic unc ions.
The sys em o pe sonnel aining in he pha maceu ical indus y includes se e al le els:
seconda y specialized and highe educa ion, as well as a segmen o con inuing educa ion. A
dis inc i e ea u e o pha maceu ical educa ion is he inclusion o esidency (in e nship),
cha ac e is ic o he medical ield. An impo an elemen o he con inuing educa ion sys em is he
managemen o p o essional de elopmen and he o ganiza ion o in e nal aining.
The o ma ion o educa ional p og ams based on a comp ehensi e app oach makes i possible
o p esen hem as a single con inuum o knowledge and skills — om p epa a o y s ages (senio
school classes) o specialis deg ee, mas e ’s and doc o al s udies, ollowed by li elong p o essional
educa ion. Such an app oach ensu es consis ency in wo k o ce planning o he pha maceu ical
indus y, he c ea ion o uni ied c i e ia o e alua ing educa ional ou comes, and he eadiness o
specialis s o p o essional ac i i y.
Conclusions: hus, human esou ces suppo o he pha maceu ical indus y equi es a
sys emic app oach based on a p o essional compe ence model o aining specialis s. The use o he
li e cycle concep o a medicinal p oduc makes i possible o design educa ional p og ams as a single
con inuum o knowledge and skills — om p epa a o y o li elong p o essional educa ion. This
