Pu pose o he s udy: The aim o he s udy is o de elop a me hod o he quan i a i e
de e mina ion o L-a ginine hyd ochlo ide in he combined in usion d ug “Escila ”, he ac i e
ing edien o which is L-a ginine hyd ochlo ide and escin.
Ma e ials and me hods: The d ug "Escila ", an in usion solu ion, whose ac i e subs ance is
L-a ginine hyd ochlo ide and escin, was used as he objec o he s udy.
10.0 ml o he sample is ans e ed o a 100 ml lask and i a ed wi h 0.1 M sil e ni a e
solu ion un il an o ange-yellow colo is achie ed. Po assium ch oma e solu ion is used as an indica o .
The con en o L-a ginine chlo ide in 1 ml o he d ug (X), in millig ams, is calcula ed using
he ollowing o mula:

Based on he s udies conduc ed, i was es ablished ha he con en o L-a ginine hyd ochlo ide
(C6H14N4O2*HCl) in 1 ml o he d ug should be om 27 mg o 33 mg.
Resul s: The s udy ound ha he a e age amoun o L-a ginine hyd ochlo ide in 5 ba ches o
he combined in usion p epa a ion was 30 mg/ml and me he es ablished c i e ia om 27 mg/ml o
33 mg/ml.
Conclusions: Based on he conduc ed s udies, i was es ablished ha he de eloped me hod can
be used o he quan i a i e de e mina ion o L-a ginine hyd ochlo ide in a combined in usion
solu ion, as he ob ained esul s a e eliable and alid. The p esence o o he ac i e componen s o
he d ug does no a ec he analysis esul s. The me hod has been inco po a ed in o he company's
d a pha macopoeial monog aph.
