Me hods.High-pe o mance liquid ch oma og aphy (HPLC) and UV-spec opho ome y we e
applied. The ex ac was dissol ed in 70% e hanol and il e ed. Ch oma og aphic analysis was ca ied
ou on a C18 column wi h ace oni ile, wa e , and ace ic acid as he mobile phase. UV-
spec opho ome y was used o measu e he o al la onoid con en using he AlCl₃ complex me hod.
Resul s .The ch oma og am e ealed se e al phenolic compounds, wi h u in iden i ied as he
main ma ke . I s clea peak con i med i s sui abili y o s anda diza ion. Spec opho ome ic analysis
showed a signi ican p esence o la onoids beyond u in, indica ing he complex composi ion o he
ex ac . Li e a u e da a con i m ha ca o enoids, annins, amino acids, and mine als also s eng hen

Conclusion. The combina ion o HPLC and UV-spec opho ome y is an e ec i e app oach
o he quali y con ol o 'Ex aden '. Ru in can be used as a eliable ma ke , while he p esence o
o he biologically ac i e compounds ensu es a wide spec um o pha macological ac i i y. The esul s
p o ide a basis o ce i ica ion and b oade medical applica ion o he p epa a ion.
