Rele ance o he esea ch: de i a i es o benzoxazole, which is a he e ocyclic compound
con aining ni ogen and oxygen, a e used in esea ch as a s a ing ma e ial o he syn hesis o many
bioac i e s uc u es, and many scien i ic s udies ha e been conduc ed on hei s uc u e and
p ope ies.
De i a i es o oxazole and 2-amino hiobenzoxazole a e ecognized as subs ances o medical
impo ance. I is known ha oxazole de i a i es a e subs ances wi h a ious pha macological e ec s.
Fo example, i is used as a emedy agains cance , mic obes, in lamma ion, he bicide, an ibac e ial,
an i i al, an ihis amine, an ioxidan , es ogen ecep o inhibi o , and hepa i is C i us. Compounds o
2-amino hiobenzoxazole also ha e luminescen p ope ies.
Pu pose o he s udy: Syn hesis o new complex compounds based on he ligand o
benzoxazole de i a i es o Co (II) and Cu (II) sal s and s udy o hei composi ion, s uc u e and
p ope ies, as well as de e mina ion o he egula i ies o complex o ma ion.
Me hods and echniques o he opic: Based on he esul s o IR spec oscopy o me al
complexes ob ained on he basis o 2-amino iobenzoxazole de i a i es o Co (II) and Cu (II) sal s,
he esul s o IR spec oscopy we e s udied.
Resul :Compa ing he IR spec a o L and i s complexes wi h cobal and coppe ni a e sal s, i
can be said ha he posi ion o symme ical alence ib a ions o he C=N bond and asymme ical
alence ib a ions o -C-N= in he spec a, du ing he ansi ion om he ligand o he complexes, a
he e ocyclic bond is o med, shi ed by 12-26 cm-1 o he i s o he low- equency egion, and by
3-10 cm-1 o he second (Table 1). The egions o asymme ic alence ib a ions o he C=N bond
shi o low equencies by 12-26 cm-1. This change can be explained by he shi in elec on densi y
du ing complex o ma ion a one o he ni ogen a oms o he oxazole ing. The posi ion o he alence
ib a ion egion o he S-CH3 bond, loca ed in he egion o 1031 cm-1, emains unchanged. Due o
he p esence o a small amoun o mois u e in he ligand molecule, he alence ib a ions also
occu ed in he egion o 3080-3271 cm-1, which emained unchanged in he complex, bu in he IR
spec um o he complexes, hese lines a e mo e esol ed and i has maxima a 3095 and 3271 cm-1.

Summa y: In he IR spec a o he complexes, he lines appea ing a 481-459 cm-1 a e
associa ed wi h he alence ib a ions o he N-M bond. Consequen ly, we can conclude ha he
coo dina ion o he e ocyclic ligands occu s a he expense o endocyclic ni ogen a oms. In he
spec um o he analyzed complex, an in ense band o symme ical alence ib a ions o he NO3-
