In June 2025, we ini ia ed he quali a i e and quan i a i e analysis o mac o- and mic oelemen s
in he ae ial pa s o A aphaxis py i olia, collec ed in he moun ainous a eas o Pa ken Dis ic ,
Tashken Region, as pa o he s udy o i s chemical componen s.
The analysis o he chemical composi ion o he s udied plan p o ides an oppo uni y o d aw
mo e p ecise conclusions abou his species.
An accu a ely weighed sample o 0.1000 g was quan i a i ely ans e ed in o Te lon
au ocla es. Subsequen ly, 3 mL o pu i ied concen a ed ni ic acid (HNO₃) and 2 mL o pu i ied
hyd ogen pe oxide (H₂O₂) we e added. The au ocla es we e sealed and placed in o a mic owa e
diges ion sys em Be gho (SpeedWa e Xpe o a simila mic owa e o en). The diges ion p ocess
was ca ied ou acco ding o a speci ic p og am se ia he ins umen in e ace. The numbe o
au ocla es, as well as he empe a u e and p essu e inside hem, we e au oma ically con olled and
moni o ed by he sys em. P ocess pa ame e s we e displayed on a liquid-c ys al display. The diges ion
was conduc ed unde condi ions o mois decomposi ion, wi h a minimum empe a u e o T = 50 °C
and a maximum empe a u e o T = 230 °C, a a maximum p essu e o P = 40 ba , o a du a ion o
35–45 minu es. A e diges ion, he au ocla es we e cooled o oom empe a u e, and he liquid
mix u e was quan i a i ely ans e ed o a olume ic lask o 50 o 100 mL capaci y. Each au ocla e
was insed 2–3 imes, and he insings we e combined, a e which he lask was illed o he
calib a ion ma k wi h dis illed wa e .
The solu ion was ho oughly mixed, ans e ed in o an au osample ial, and placed in he
designa ed posi ion o he au osample . In he p og am, he posi ion o each ial, he weighed mass,
and he dilu ion ac o we e en e ed.
The mine alized solu ion was analyzed using an A io-200 ICP-OES (Induc i ely Coupled
Plasma Op ical Emission Spec ome e , Pe kinElme ) o quan i a i ely de e mine he mac o- and
mic oelemen s, hea y me al sal s, and a e me als ela i e o he co esponding s anda d samples. A
he end o he p ocess, he ins umen au oma ically ecalcula ed he esul s based on he sample mass
and dilu ion ac o s, p o iding he deg ee o accu acy and he ela i e s anda d de ia ion (RSD)
alues.

highe amoun s in he lowe s, s ems, and lea es o he plan . In addi ion, aluminum (Al), i on (Fe),
sul u (S), phospho us (P), and sodium (Na) we e also de ec ed in compa a i ely highe amoun s han
o he elemen s, al hough a lowe concen a ions o e all. Impo an ly, oxic elemen s such as Pb, Cd,
As, and Hg we e no de ec ed in he composi ion o A aphaxis py i olia, and he le els o o he hea y
me als did no exceed pe missible limi s. On he con a y, he ela i ely high con en o magnesium,
po assium, and calcium in di e en plan o gans highligh s he signi icance o he s udied plan as a
subjec o esea ch.
