social, echnological, and business inno a ion in a sample o Vie namese manu ac u ing fi ms. Resul s o a

popula ion densi y, de o es a ion, global wa ming, pollu ion, and
ozone laye and na u al esou ce deple ion ha e led o a cu en ly
ongoing en i onmen al c isis. Gas, coal, and oil p oduc ion elease
billions o ons o ca bon dioxide in o he a mosphe e, esul ing in a
huge amoun o g eenhouse gas emissions each yea (Chand e al.,
2022;Sal ia e al., 2019). Go e nmen s, indus ialis s, and nonp ofi
o ganiza ions ecognize he u gen need o emphasize g een ac i i-
ies and sus ainable p ocesses o a sa e plane and human li e. Fi ms
and o ganiza ions ace huge p essu e globally o ocus on en i on-

a ion, and knowledge managemen (Hu asuhu e al., 2023;Li & Xu,
2022).

esponsible beha io . Socially g een beha io educes he nega i e

abili y (S eimikiene, 2023;Va ela-Candamio e al., 2018). Acco d-
ingly, i significan ly con ibu es o minimizing indus ial pollu ion
and was e and p o ec ing plane a y well-being. Technological inno-
a ion is he p ocess o in oducing and de eloping inno a i e and
new echnologies ha no only add ess p oblems bu also imp o e
e ficiency and enhance business ac i i ies by combining o c ea ing
new and aluable solu ions (Chege & Wang, 2020;Khan & Tao, 2022).

oppo uni ies, d i ing p og ess, and dealing wi h challenges such as
ene gy secu i y and clima e change. Fu he mo e, i can enhance p o-

ion e e s o he implemen a ion o new ideas, p ocesses, and
s a egies ha add ess en i onmen al and social challenges and c e-

lems. Non-p ofi o ganiza ions, go e nmen agencies, and social

o e , business inno a ion e e s o c ea ing and implemen ing new
s a egies, ideas, business models, and policies ha enable fi ms o
imp o e hei pe o mance and gain compe i i e ad an age by con-
cen a ing on new ways o doing business o mee ma ke condi ions.
Business inno a ion can ake place in he o m o o ganiza ional,
p oduc , o p ocess inno a ion, which in ol es adap abili y, espon-
si eness, and willingness o change adi ional p ocesses (Lim e al.,
2020). Knowledge managemen in fi ms is he p ocess o c ea ing,
using, sha ing, and managing in o ma ion and knowledge. I helps in
cap u ing, iden i ying, s o ing, and u ilizing knowledge and making i
accessible o employees. Knowledge managemen cul u e enhances
o ganiza ional pe o mance as well as inno a ion and e ec i eness
(Gao e al., 2018). All hese a iables con ibu e o en ep eneu ial
fi ms’success, encou aging hem o mo e owa d sus ainabili y.
The manu ac u ing sec o in Vie nam has an essen ial ole in he
coun y’s economic g ow h, inc easing he employmen a e and
expo s. In 2022, he sec o accoun ed o 24.76 % o he coun y’s
GDP (Fig. 1). As he sec o ’s p oduc ion index inc eased, he pe cen -
age o indi iduals employed in he sec o also inc eased (S a is a,
2024). Vie nam’s manu ac u ing indus y comp ises small and
medium-sized en e p ises and la ge fi ms. En ep eneu ial fi ms in
he manu ac u ing indus y con ibu e o job c ea ion and employ-
men (Le, 2020). In 2020, Vie nam anked 42nd on he global inno a-
ion index among 131 coun ies. This achie emen highligh s he
significan con ibu ion o en ep eneu ial fi ms o inno a ion p og-
ess. Howe e , wi h inc eases in business g ow h, he manu ac u ing
sec o aces challenges, pa icula ly in e ms o he en i onmen al
c isis (Vie namnews, 2020). Vie nam’s manu ac u ing indus y con-
ibu es conside ably o esou ce deple ion, en i onmen al deg ada-
ion, and g eenhouse gas and ca bon dioxide emission educ ion.
En ep eneu ial fi ms mus add ess hese challenges o c ea e a sus-
ainable en i onmen (Canh e al., 2019). Manu ac u ing fi ms in
Vie nam a e unde immense p essu e om he go e nmen o sup-
p ess hei nega i e en i onmen al impac s. Acco dingly, his
esea ch in ends o help hem do so. In his pape , we explo e
en ep eneu ial fi ms in he manu ac u ing indus y o Vie nam o
analyze how o inc ease hei chances o succeeding in he ma ke

The p esen s udy uses an in eg a ed amewo k based on
esou ce-based iew and flow heo ies. The in eg a ed pe spec i e is

cess. The p inciples o g ow h ha can be go e ned by an o ganiza-
ion and he pace o g ow h ha i should main ain mus be
iden ified, a he han de e mining whe he i can g ow o no . In

iew should be acknowledged (Hameed e al., 2016,2021). The wo k

in e nal esou ces ha gi e a sus ainable compe i i e edge. Resou -
ces a e ela ed o a fi m’s s eng hs and weaknesses (Al a ez & Buse-
ni z, 2001;Ba ney, 1991) and can be angible (such as machine y,
skilled pe sonnel, and capi al) o in angible (such as e ec i e p oce-
du es, b and epu a ion, and ade con ac s). Resou ces can ake
many o ms, including asse s, knowledge, a ibu es, in o ma ion,
capabili ies, and p ocesses, which a e all help ul in alue-c ea ion
s a egies. The li e a u e highligh s h ee ca ego ies o esou ces:
physical, human, and o ganiza ional (Hameed & I an, 2019). G een
en ep eneu ial suppo is linked o sus ainable en ep eneu ial p o-
cesses, which include ac o s, esou ces, and ins i u ional se ings. Yi
(2021) ollows Timmons and Spinelli (2003) a gumen and sugges s
ha esou ce-based heo y emphasizes en ep eneu ial esou ces as
co e ac o s o he su i al and success o s a -ups. In o he wo ds,
en ep eneu ial success elies on a ious kinds o esou ces. The
p esen s udy in eg a es he esou ce-based iew wi h he esou ces
needed o launch g een en u es and make hem success ul, namely,
business, social, and echnological inno a ion, g een social beha io ,
and knowledge managemen .

Flow heo y explains (Alam e al., 2019;Liao, 2006): s a e in

(Ma enda & Sibanda, 2023). Fi ms wi h g een social beha io enable
employees o concen a e on new se ices, p oduc s, a echnologies
ha a e eco- iendly and sus ainable. By adop ing g een p ac ices
and sus ainable ac i i ies in business ope a ions, fi ms can minimize
cos s h ough esou ce and ene gy e ficiency measu es, leading o
p ofi abili y and enhanced business inno a ion (Gao e al., 2021). In

hus allowing en ep eneu ial fi ms o de elop new business models
ha ackle en i onmen al issues as well as p o ide sus ainable and
inno a i e solu ions (Lin & Zhu, 2019). En ep eneu s can enhance
hei business ac i i ies and ope a ions by in eg a ing new echno-
logical inno a ions, hus imp o ing hei p oduc i i y and e ficiency.
Au oma ed echnologies ha enhance he bo om line and s eamline
ope a ions can help achie e his a ge . A combina ion o echnologi-
cal inno a ion and g een social beha io will enable en ep eneu ial
fi ms o p oduce new p oduc s and se ices ha mee he en i on-
men al demand and help hem achie e sus ainable and inno a i e
goals. Fu he mo e, h ough echnological inno a ion, en ep eneu -
ial fi ms can scale up hei business ac i i ies o mee indus ial and
cus ome demands. These inno a ions include he use o e-comme ce
and social media o connec o cus ome s globally. Hence, echnologi-
cal inno a ion no only enhances consume expe ience by p o iding
imp o ed se ices and communica ion channels bu also gi es fi ms
a compe i i e edge by imp o ing e ficiency, p oduc i i y, and scal-
abili y and c ea ing new oppo uni ies. Wi h he inc easing en i on-
men al issues, go e nmen s, cus ome s, and policymaking bodies a e
a o ing fi ms ha con ibu e posi i ely o he en i onmen and
educe hei nega i e en i onmen al impac s (AlJinini e al., 2019).

nological inno a ion, and business inno a ion we e measu ed wi h
i ems aken om AlGhazali and A sa (2021),Choi e al. (2020),
Vod
a and Flo ea (2019),Hsu e al. (2019),Jean e al. (2010), and Lin e
al. (2010), espec i ely. Appendix A p o ides de ails o hese meas-
u emen s.
The s udy sample was selec ed based on simple andom sampling.
A o al o 538 ques ionnai es we e deli e ed o employees ia email,
o which 294 alid esponses we e ecei ed. These esponses we e
used o da a analysis. PLS me hodology was used o e alua e he
ela ionship as he me hod is sui able o p ima y da a. I o e s
app op ia e ou comes when complex la ge samples a e used (Hai e
al., 2014). The me hodology is based on wo s eps: a measu emen
model and a s uc u al model. The measu emen model ensu es
eliabili y and alidi y h ough disc iminan and con e gen alidi y,
which indica e he co ela ion be ween a iables and be ween i ems,
espec i ely (Hai e al., 2017). Con e gen alidi y is calcula ed ia
C onbach’s alpha, whe e he s anda d alue should be >0.70. Simi-
la ly, composi e eliabili y (CR) should also be >0.70. Fac o loadings
and a e age a iance ex ac ed (AVE) should also be >0.50 (Hai J . e
al., 2020).
Disc iminan alidi y is measu ed by he Fo nell−La cke c i e ion
(Ringle e al., 2015) and finally checked using he he e o ai −mono-
ai (HTMT) a io, o which he alues should be lowe han 0.90
(Hai e al., 2017). The s uc u al model deals wi h he associa ion
be ween a iables (Fig. 2). The - alues should be >1.96, and he p-
alues should be <0.05, showing he significance o he associa ions
(Hai J . e al., 2020).
Resul s and discussion
Resea ch findings
The s udy ou comes indica e he co ela ions be ween he s udy
i ems, showing con e gen alidi y. C onbach’s alpha, CR, and AVE
we e used o examine con e gen alidi y. Con e gen alidi y is
es ablished when alues o CR, C onbach’s alpha, and AVE a e a leas
0.7, 0.6, and 0.5, espec i ely. All he alues p esen ed in Table 1
mee he h eshold c i e ia, hus confi ming con e gen alidi y.

inno a ion helps deal wi h en i onmen al challenges h ough c ea-
i e solu ions and ideas. As he wo ld aces huge sus ainabili y chal-
lenges, fi ms need o ackle he en i onmen al c isis, and g een social
